colorado vacation

My wife and I are planning a vacation to Colorado for 5 days in the middle of June. We are new to biking and would like to ride on some trails as well as some hiking, white water rafting. I would also like to hit salida for zip lining and golden for the coors tour. We were thinking about heading out to durango but am looking for some options/opinions.

I'm trying to plan for next year. I've looked at the crowd calendars already but I was wondering when different parts of the country had their school vacations. We live in NH and our kids are on vacation Feb 22-26 and April 26-30. We're thinking about going in mid-March and I've heard it is busy. Just thought I'd see how many kids are on vacation then (I know that is when college has their spring breaks). Thanks!

looking at portland for vacation

thinking about renting a bike and tooling around oregon for vacation. Does anyone know anything about portland motorcycle rentals? And does anyone have recomendations on where to ride to sight see? I'm traveling to Italy for nine days and will be bring my new Canon HF20 but I have a few questions.
1) Will the default battery (BP-809) plus one larger battery (BP-819) be enough for shooting each day? This seems like plenty to me (I will run out of storage long before the battery I'm guessing).
2) How much storage should I bring? The camcorder has 32 GB built-in and I'm thinking about buying two 16 GB SDHC cards. However, if I shoot 32 GB of video every day than how can I archive it before re...

Given the high population of "yankess" on this board, I figured I would ask for some advice/opinions.
Wife and I are looking for some vacation ideas. Looking late August/September.
I've always had a fascination with the northeast coastline - specifically Maine, etc. I LOVE lighthouses and the rocky coastline you see on the postcards. Have never been though.

Stay in Cusco for a few nights (it's beautiful) and book your trip to Machu Picchu from there. I would suggest you do a 3 or 4 day hike (on short notice - 1 or 2 days after booking) that includes entrance, the return bus leg, meals and so on, for $180USD. I suggest you do the hike because doing a one day trip to Machu Picchu costs somewhere in the realm of $120US - adding $60 for a 4 day hike isn't bad value.

So to say the least I have learned so much about FM and me I actually help myself a whole lot by not sleeping on my back I also know that when lying down my sinuses get stopped up so easy and I can not breathe why? I do not know....but I do know this happens each time....and one can not sleep if I can not breathe

My boyfriend and I have a Summer vacation set for the week of July 13th. We both are taking 5 days from work, plus we have 2 weekends (1 before and 1 after). We are trying to figure out the best place to go this Summer. We have some ideas already, but want a few outside opinions. Our first thought was Williamsburg, VA.
