What Do Some Japanese Gamers Think About Online Gaming/Distribution?

Japanese magazine Famitsu has polled a pool of 798 about their thoughts on what's going on with the game industry. The most interesting data was with online gaming.
While 90 percent of those polled have used some sort of home console or portable console, only 24 percent of those have actually paid to use said service meaning, we assume, they're not using paid services like Xbox LIVE. What's more, 58.5 percent use those networks for wireless ad hoc play (think Monster Hunter on the PSP).

Hey hows it going guys, I'm thinking about buying a MSI GX610 laptop and I would like to know others opinions on the specs, the company, the price etc etc. First of all things you should know about me. Vampire: The Masquerade -- Bloodlines (I played it before, a long time ago, but never finished it. Apparently there's been some crazy community support for it in the interim).
All three are $20. Advice/other suggestions, particularly around that price point?

Currently, we have several separate gaming news and platform forums and almost all of them are underutilized, with only a few new topics a day being posted. What if we combined the General Gaming & Industry News, Sony, Microsoft, Nintendo, PC, and Old School forums into a single Gaming Discussion forum, but allowed users to filter topics if they desired? I think that creating a single location for gaming discussion will help increase conversations.

Thinking about a gaming computer

Hey everyone, I'm looking to get myself a gaming computer under 900 dollars. I already know I want atleast 4gs of ram, but I'm curious about other things I need in order to play some new games. In particular, I want to know what type of graphics card I'll need to play the new games, and so I don't have to replace it soon. Any extra information about anything is appreciated since I'm not as good with computers as most of you guys seem to be. Thanks alot.

I'm moving up from an outdated, but functional e4300 oc'ed from 1.8ghz to 2.7ghz. I'm looking for a Core2Quad for about $210 which would be good for gaming. I've updated a bunch of parts on my rig, went up to 2x2GB G.Skill RAM from 2x1GB G.Skill RAM. Upped from a Biostart T-Force P965 to an ASUS P5Q-Pro motherboard.
