Well, at about April of last year I had to get a physical for a job I was going to be working over the summer. I tipped the scales at 305 pounds....as a ****ing 17 year old. I was completely disgusted with myself but it took me until February of this year to get off my lazy *** and do something about it.
Here are some pictures of me at about my fattest, in late 2008.
These were both taken at last Christmas, pre-weight loss.
Right at the end of January, I decided enough was enough and it was time...

looking for opinions/advice about "Street Beat"

i am looking for a small fixed blade and am thinking about the street beat. the big question in my mind is the sheath. what little i have seen online indicates that the sheath is no good, the knife rattles inside, the sheath eventually breaks in and becomes too loose. i would proably carry in the small of my back and evidently the sheath has to be modified (drilled) to work in this position? i cant seem to find a lot of feedback of any kind online and what is there is at least a couple of years...

OK so the debate about whether ROM is a WOW clone is ever ongoing and I think to be honest there is a lot of biased negativity from the 2 camps (the "you're missing the point" ppl vs the "omg freewow but not quite as good")
I love the class system, I've just come from FFXI and I think that although the classes aren't as diverse, the ability to combine 2 steryotypical classes certainly adds a different angle.

I am currently working out the workings of my (yet unfinished) headgear on a 32 gaff cutter. I have a pretty good idea that this is all correct, but I wanted to make sure by running it by the vetted and sharp minds here at the WBF. The boat is a true gaff cutter, in the sense that the jib and jib stay is run out the bowsprit on a traveler ring, set in a Dyarchy halyard/stay-tensioning system (which I like). Hi all,
I entered into a 12m contract to rent a house in May 08. We then needed to move to a different city and moved out in Oct 08. The landlord said this was fine if we found replacement tenants.
We found several interested parties, but didn't manage to get anyone in. This was due to several issues including the fact that the landlord and estate agents messed around until the applicants got fed up, and that the landlord took up the kitchen floor to repair then left the mouldy floorboards expos...

I shoot a lot of motorsport using Nikkor AFS 70-200 2.8 VR and Nikkor AFS 300 2.8 VR with Nikkor 1.4 TC on a D300 and get very good results.
However, recently I have seen some pro guys using the Sigma 50-500 (Bigma) and after talking with them they say it is a great lens, very versatile and excellent image quality. One guy let me snap off a few shots using his D3 with the bigma attached, the results were excellent.

Okay here's an issue I've been losing sleep over for years and years. I've gotten a few vague answers here and there but never have I actually found a proper fatwa with details from the Qur'an and Sunnah about this.
Basically, I'm super confused! Among our community, we have so many people with so many different opinions on Islamic issues. Whether they're just general sciences or they are about Islamic law. There are many cases where there is ambiguity or scholars that just interpret things diff...

Wheel opinions for my 98 SL2?

So I just finally got my valve body replaced after the guy I recently bought it from had his station do it and I didn't wind up having to do any of the dirty work. I got the part off of ebay which was only $150 and it seems to have worked so hopefully the shaft nut isn't loose or anything.
To the main point, I've found some nice deals on wheels on craigslist. Before diving into buying wheels, I figured I'd ask you guys what your opinions were first. I'm thinking a 16x7 at the moment, but I'm not...

Forgive my ignorance, but shouldn't a society of opinions and information be more forward? I think it's great there's a website we can all tag along and send/receive information about radio. front end rattling, inspected today, opinions?

So I jacked up my car today to check out my sspension and what the rattling noise might be that I was asking about a while back.
I put the jack under the front shock on each side so the suspension wasn't extended.
I grabbed the top and bottom of my wheel and rocked it, and my right front wheel wobbles a little bit. I checked it out from behind as best I could and it didn't look like any suspension components were moving or loose.
