Thinking about moving to Indiana
(25 May 2009)
I am wanting to move back to Indiana to be closer to my husband. I am looking for information on Evansville - does anyone know what is the best area to live in? I would prefer a house (no apartments) and it has to have a fenced in yard and lots of mature trees in the area. I don't like sparse and want to feel comfortable and safe. Any ideas? Please PM me if you can help.
Thanks!

Indiana Vegetarians in Indiana
(14 Apr 2009)
Howdy ya'll! I'm from Chesterton *near Michigan City and the Indiana Dunes*. I have two veg friends at school, so I'm grateful for that
But I'm thinking about getting a group together to talk about vegetarianism/veganism, and two people it pretty pathetic. It's a start though, ya know? Veggie Boards has helped me through a lot

Hello from Indiana
(31 May 2009)
Hi everyone! My name is Cutter and I am a railroad conductor. My razor of choice is my `66 Superspeed, though I am thinking about looking for a Fatboy just to extend the lifespan of my SS because it is my birth year razor. I bought a Merkur 34g for that purpose, but IMHO, it is no SS. I use an EJ BBB and also one of those Kimson horn handle silvertips. Both are great, to me. I have tried quite a few different soaps and creams, but they all faded into disinterest once I tried Mama Bears. I also l...

Please help Indiana
(02 Jul 2009)
Hello to everyone. I am an international student who has been admitted as a PhD student at the University of Notre Dame in South Bend. My fiance has been admitted to the Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago. For the first year we are looking to stay at our Universities "homes", i.e I will live in South Bend and my fiance in Chicago. I want to ask how easy is to commute to each one's place every weekend? Are there any toll we have to pay (we both gonna have a car)? In the future (second ye...

Indiana Jones movies
(18 Jun 2009)
My sons have gotten into the Indiana Jones movies (I'd say trilogy but there are now four of them) and have spent the first few weeks of the summer watching the most recent film with Harrison Ford and Shia LeBouf and then the original trilogy. I actually think the first three films have held up pretty well (they are now almost 30, 25 and 20 years old) and in case anyone is looking for good escape summer films for their 8-16 year-olds, I'd recommend introducing them to the Indy Jones movies if th...

I'm doing this for myself so it's really important that it does not get screwed up. Also...

Wild Living in Indiana
(07 Jun 2009)
Although we live in town, the stream near my house is a source and attraction for some wildlife. This evening we watched a groundhog make his regular trip into my neighbor's yard to eat clover. The groundhog is fun to watch because of the way he moves and his frequent popping up to check for predators while he has his meal.
My wife thought it was gross when I mentioned that we used to eat groundhog in southern Indiana.
Groundhogs are pretty clean animals that live on roots, clover, the pears on...

Photo TR: Indiana Beach
(31 May 2009)
Despite its lack of theming (which wouldn't be appropriate in this case anyway), Indiana Beach is very nearly my perfect park: small but compact, filled with fun and unique attractions all piled on top of one another, and utterly and completely cracksmoking.
I'm still a bit worried about the new management--but thankfully not much has changed, so far. Hopefully, they realize and appreciate what a good thing they have.
I certainly do.
Description: The park has two entrances. This is the prettier...
