Cunard cruiser opinions on Southampton hotels

I know I can consult tripadvisor.com or post this elsewhere on CC, but I'm interested in past Cunard cruisers experiences with Southampton hotels. We won't have a car. Can we walk to shopping, museums, etc? Do any provide shuttle services to ship? Why do you like specific hotels?

Thanks for reading my post - just wanted to check in with the experts here on this forum... My wife and I have a Grand Suite reserved for 5nights at the Swan Hotel - Any reviews? Opinions? Anybody had experience with the Grand Suite??

Do you read the TA Hotel review section, and if so...what do you think? I just started reading it in the last few months, I find it very informative in most cases and was surprised (and disturbed) at the following:

I am wondering if anyone else has had this issue or will look for it in the future?
I have never stayed at the Melia but have toured the place and walked down to it many times. Has anyone else stayed there since this was written?

Hi Guys, I know that everyone likes different things in a hotel; I switched from the ASM to the POFQ to the CSR all due to the different posts that I have read on this board. I know it depends on what kind of experience you are looking for, but what is the better hotel? I am going on an anniversary trip and am looking for the nicest hotel - when I say nice I mean clean, pretty, and overall good service. Which of those three hotels would you suggest. Hi all
Please can I have your opinions on the best Hotel eating places - buffets especially that are covered by the Half board plus scheme.?
I fancy trying the Parkside Diner, Cape Cod and Hunters Grill ?

Seattle Hotel Recommendation - Vote!!

Can someone give me some opinions of both the Sheraton Downtown Seattle vs the Pan Pacific Hotel.
I pretty much have the same rate for both available, so price is not a concern to save on one over the other.
Please help as far location and available walking options around the hotel.
We will be without a car, so we need a trolley or bus to get around to attractions.

Looking at these three hotel and Need Opinions

Hi we are heading to Walt Disney World for 10 days at the end of October this year. We have a 8 year old son. Wanted a hotel convenient to Disney world , restaurants, good pool etc, but also a place we can go back to and relax at times. We will be renting a car.
Just from trip advisor and other reviews have come down to these three hotels. Any comments from people who have stayed at any would be greatly appreciated. Please if you want feel free to suggest others. They are all within what our bud...

Thinking about going abroad

I am English and living in the U.K. What with the recession and a few other things, my life seems to have come to a complete stop. Relationship wise, Family wise, Workwise, friendwise, everything seems to have stopped .
I have my life ahead of my with no ties . I am considering leaving the U.K. and travelling around the World with the view to not coming back to the U.K. I just feel a bit apprehensive about going .
