I need advice on an awkward situation involving a colleague

I'll try to keep this to the point.
I am departmentalized. Yesterday I got a phone call from one of my homeroom student's mothers. I don't want to call them 'Pokemorphs', because to me that brings up the picture of someone shapeshifting into a Manectric. No, that's not what I mean. I mean the dreaded People With Pokemon DNA.
Now, I know most people don't take these kinds of characters very fondly anymore, and seeing as having a cute ten-year-old with Skitty ears and powers is really just begging to be a Mary-Sue, I'm not a fan of them either.

In these times of a over saturated music industry it makes you wonder why there are so much individuals who are involved in the underground of the music industry involving themselves with a detrimental mindset towards others. Will the times of one who have integrity and a inspiration outlook on music in general ever return? Will the belligerence of the ignorant mindset of opinions and bad mind thinking cease?

5D Mark II + 85mm f/1.2L II: My opinions and yours too pls

These are my opinions of the 5D MK II and 85 1.2L II combo:
I took many shots in outdoor overcast lighting. Well, owners should know that this 85mm gem is slower to focus compared to other USM lenses. But what surprised me is that, for one particular series involving full body shots, I got only 2 shots in focus out of 6! The aperture used was mainly f/1.2 to f/1.6.
I was quite sure the focusing point was on my subject and I did not shift the cam too much. Cam to subject distance was about 3-4 me...

Do you like attacking with the BLU team?
Do you like defending with the RED team?
Or do you just like being on one colour because its Puuurrrddyyy.

Damn...Maybe I Do Need That Shoulder Surgery--Looking For Opinions

As most of you know, I have issues with my shoulder. My shoulder started feeling better with me doing personal physical therapy. My bicep started hurting so I went into the doctor. The doctor told me that its probably connected with my shoulder injury. She was reading my MRI report and said, "Wow! Your shoulder is jacked up!".
