Targeting other teams prospects

Lots of teams have good prospect depth - so what do you guys think about moving players such as Ponikarovsky, Stajan, Stempniak, White, etc. for prospects currently signed with teams that have other needs?
Here's an example of something I've thought of:

Does anyone know where I can find a list of 2010 prospects? What positions are considered to be strong next year?
This knowledge may have some impact on long term choices made this year. For instance, trading for or away picks next year.
Ex. What would you rather do, trade down this year to pick up a 2nd rounder this year or for a 1st rounder in 2010? I suspect AJ has at least scanned next year's draft class for this exact circumstance (If I'm thinking about it, he should too. It's his job after...

In thinking about the future prospects for Adam and Kris, the story of Rhydian and Leon might be instructive.

A quick question regarding the MCDBA and job prospects. To fill you in on my exp, I was in IT many moons ago, supporting DOS, 3.1 upto Windows 2000 AD, Exchange etc + some Novell and Linux. Although mainly desktop and server, in the "good old days", you petty much got your hands dirty with everything, inc databases and I designed a few databases years ago.

Hey again guys! I just bought this off of ebay with a winning bid of $61 plus shipping!!! Orange County Sports Cards sells it for $77 without shipping so thats a really good deal!!! Disappointing Prospects Who Never Developed

Thinking about Chris Young, and Mark Reynolds, and how they came up with such a great first year, and then seem to founder afterwards, it made me think of this guy.

He was a top prospect, 4th pick in the 2005 draft. Brought up at age 20, he had an OPS+ of 162, albeit in only 20 games. His OPS+ of 114 at age 21 was still very good for a third baseman, esp. one who was only 21 years old. But then he only put up OPS+ of only 107 and...
