Hi all,
As a belated birthday present to myself, I decided to buy a NEC 2490WUXi. I am really spoiled by the Dell 2005FPW (a S-IPS panel), but it starts showing its age, and the NEC looks like the most logical upgrade path. I briefly considered the 24" HP S-IPS, but I don't want to go through the high-gamut issues. Couple of questions:
1) What is the best place to buy the monitor given that I live in the USA? I am mostly concerned with the return policy -- it is a very expensive monitor, and if...

I purchased myself the ped-egg w/handle with some of my babysitting money tonight .I tried it out briefly and I'm still not too sure about it but, will try again tomorrow. I really want soft feet so if it works, $13 was worth it!
What do you think about YOUR Ped-Egg? Do you like it? Does it work well? Also, how long can you use the blade it came with?

Hello. I'm an old DAOC/Mordred guy. (Nirk, GL of Lost Knight)
I played WAR briefly on release, but was drug away back to WoW by my wife.
Now I've come back to WAR, (and rescued someone from WoW as well..)
Does DC have that 'old mordred' feel to it? I'm a little disappointed there isn't an open PVP server. But this seems good enough.
note: I'll be rolling Destro.

I was speaking with some fellow GTO owners tonight at the Nifty 50ee's Classic Cruisers show up at Champion Forest and Spring Cypress tonight and the subject came up about meeting up there in a few weeks. I talked briefly with Randy who runs the show up there and he said they would reserve a row for us on the back side of the lot and that it would run a simple $5 per car donation to help with their costs. OK, I inheirited a Walking Liberty 50 cent Whitman Album from my Father-In-Law, that is filled except for the usual key dates. All the coins are VG to VF. But being in this folder for 40+ years has toned the coins an ugly dark color (especially the Reverse) Also being in a smoke filled house did not help!
I have taken one coin at a time and carried in my pants and rubbed it occasionaly. Or I will take a coin and rub with my fingers for 5-10 minutes.

Is it possible to identify a maker for the 1 Oktober medal? These are not in my area of interest, and I don't know where to start.
I will briefly say that this is the most beautiful 1939 EK2 medalbar I have ever held. The quality and workmanship is superb in every regard.

Hi Gang,
Now that I have been in the business for a year and have handled a ton of cars I thought I would kick off a thread on the new releases. Sort of a year in review.
All our Cars are run magnet out on a 70 ft, 6 lane, painted Scaley track with a variable power supply and a Trackmate lap Timer. We run at 12 volys most of the time.

I briefly had possession of an Ibanez Montage, which in no way is a match in terms of quality to anything Taylor makes, however, the guitar did yield some great tones (Acoustic, Clean Electric, Electric with gain and of course, various blends). In addition, that guitar has onboard Reverb and Chorus that didn't sound all that great but were convenient. An interesting guitar for the money which ends up being about a third of the cost of a T5 Standard.
