I have trouble having much sympathy toward Khalid Sheikh Mohammed being waterboarded. The man was behind the death and murder of thousands of Americans on September 11th. He was a sick POS. I was also for the war in Afganistan to root out the folks who planned 9/11. I was AGAINST the Iraq war because it was irrelevant to the 9/11 attacks, and distracted the U.S. from its efforts to pursue Al Queda.
I am comfortable with the decision not to prosecute those folks who waterboarded Khalid Sheikh Moh...

I've put this detail in a series of posts, but it really deserves a full post. According to the May 30, 2005 Bradbury memo , Khalid Sheikh Mohammed was waterboarded 183 times in March 2003 and Abu Zubaydah was waterboarded 83 times in August 2002.
On page 37 of the OLC memo, in a passage discussing the differences between SERE techniques and the torture used with detainees, the memo explains:

i see the stats for this kid. did ok for his sophmore and junior year, but then really stepped up his game his senior year. but what i wanna know is can this kid be considered our #2 or #3 reciever? to be honest i dont really know anything else about him besides the team he played for and his stats.
in your guys opinion...what do u think about him? does he run good routes, does he have soft hands, hows his work ethic..that kind of thing.
give me your honest opinion. i tried looking for it on oth...

De retour avec ce format de chronique, revoilà donc quelques points/potins en vrac. Ce soir cest Sacrifice, Extreme Rules, dans 2 semaines, donc parlons un peu de tout ce joyeux bazar :

Pour faire bref, ça fait depuis au moins 3 semaines que visionner Raw me torture. Il y a pourtant un certain potentiel avec Matt Hardy, MVP et Kofi mais pas assez mit en avant. Il y a The Miz qui assure au niveau Entertainement, mais je trouve quil est bien le seul et par ailleur...

Back from a partly medical absence. Before I do some economics posts, I think I ought to say something about the torture memos namely, that there is now no way to view the people who ruled us these past 8 years as anything but monsters. We had all these rationalizations of torture over the ticking clock and all that then we learn, for example, that Khalid Sheikh Mohammed was waterboarded 183 times in one month.
I really dont even want to think about all this. But this was our government ...

Shahrukh Khan has been issued a fatwa after his comments about the Prophet Mohammed caused offence in the Islamic world, it has been reported.
Mufti Mohammed Shoeb Raza Qadri and Mufti Muti-ur-Rehman of the Darul Uloom Mazhar E Islam handed Khan the ruling, claiming that he had insulted the entire Muslim community, says Hindu.com.
