Working on a comic book NEED OPINIONS!
(16 Jun 2009)
So I've been working on this for a while. Not the actual comic, but little doodles and drawings and tiny strips here and there, but I've recently been wanting to work on an actual comic book and maybe see if some publisher like Slave Labor Graphics would be interested in it.
It is called "The Felix Files"
and it is focused on the main character Felix Terrel. He is a 16 year old boy with jade green hair who, after a traumatic experience as a child, has the ability to see ghosts. He has many night...

Meet The Boosters.
(20 Apr 2009)
First off, not allowed polls in Site Feedback? Crafty blighters!
Im pitching you the idea of a Meet The Boosters section. Basically, a section or stickied thread that gets replaced regularly where a certain member posts interviews with other users. Im not very crafty at explaining things, so heres a fwe examples from Rotorburn.net (The Australian Mountain Biking equivalent to Boost):
Quote:
Tristan 23 #44
1/ Who are you? (Your name, age, job ect.
Tristan Peter Ambrose Cardew. (Drug-induced choic...

INTRODUCTION
I feel that these forums are a great tool for the "next guy" to get educated and make an informed decision. I hope reading my thoughts can help someone the same way others helped me
As you read this keep in mind that some was written before, during and after the trip and procedure. Its long so you might want to skip around if you get bored, but I wanted to share as much as possible.
Why did I choose to have a transplant?
Short AnswerA desire to have more hair and the security that...

Flash's Guide to Online Dating for Men (sorry Ladies)
(06 Jul 2009)
Introduction
I have used online dating sites such as eHarmony, Lavalife, and Plenty of Fish and consider myself to be successful. The majority of my success came from Lavalife because I was much more active on that than anything else. The point isn't to get you to join Lavalife because I believe my lessons can be applied to ANY dating site.
The number of dates I have been able to get since mid Feb is 20 and counting.. the majority of the dates came earlier as I sent out more messages, but as tim...

Survive
(03 Jun 2009)
Introduction
I remember back in high school I read this book on the occult. Or at least I considered it to be that sort of book. Despite its content the author seemed to take his topic quite seriously. It was accepted by the public just as any other book of its nature would be. Met with ridicule, criticism, and of course the occasional uneducated, hateful opinion.
I remember reading said book every chance I had. Lunch, in class when the teacher wasnt looking, even while walking home. It genuine...

Jiminy (Comedy)
(27 Apr 2009)
This is a short (ish) story that i wrote a wee while back. I am well aware that the writing style is offbeat. I am hoping it is consistently offbeat.
JIMINY
If there was one thing Jiminy wasn’t good at, it was public speaking. Actually, if there was anything Jiminy actually showed an actual talent for, he hadn’t discovered it in his sixteen years trying to make his mark on the planet. So it would be fairer to say “public speaking is amongst the many things Jiminy has no aptitude for whatsoever”....
