Hi! I'm a student intern for a celiac magazine and I was hoping to get teens and kids opinions on gluten free foods and dealing with eating gluten free at school and in restaurants. BACKGROUND: So I used to be a firm believer that eating unprocessed, organic, and locally grown food was the best way to go. I own a 2002 Nissan Altima

Tell me about carrying a pager for work. Opinions and laws welcome.

At my job, those in my position have always been required to carry work-provided cell-phones. Recently, these cell-phones were taken away, and replaced with pagers. No rules are really in place, but there's an unwritten expectation to respond to a page within a "reasonable timeframe", which has been discussed as being 5 minutes.
In my state, there are no laws regarding compensation for on-call time, so it reverts to federal law. Federal labor laws seem to imply that it's on a case-by-case basis,...

Thinking about selling macbook for imac

I have the previous model of the macbook 13" 2.0ghz 4gb ram. I really want an iMac though. I barely ever leave my house with this and I'd really like the larger screen.
Is it worth it to pop this macbook on ebay and then use the money to buy the cheapest model of iMac with the student discount and free iPod? I'd just sell the iPod touch on ebay to count it as more money off on the iMac.
Let me know some opinions...

Opinions about Trip

Occasionally someone will accuse me of not liking Trip. I wanted to make my views clear and hopefully generate thoughtful discussion. Opinions Wanted Next Day or it's FREE!

Things have been a bit slow lately and my day is anything but full of framing endeavors. I just thought up a marketing idea and even though it's only half baked I thought I'd throw the idea out there.
What if I advertise on my outdoor sign "Next Day or it's FREE!" .
All the Big Boxes require a couple weeks to get their framing out. Most other shops are at least a week.

Thinking about DVC

I am thinking about DVC at BLT & aprox. 180 points. We were offered a $5 incentive. The only things holding us back are:
1) We were looking at a cruise with our next Disney trip; however, it does not seem worth it to use the points for a cruise. We were told that they were running an incitive for current memebers for an free cruise with the purchase of an additional 100 pts. While we would love to be able to join at 160 pts. & buy the additional 100 pts. for the free cruise, 260 pts. is way more...
