Hi
Our MacAfee anti-virus on our WindowsXP 2003 server (15-20 seats) is
about to expire.
We are thinking about replacing it with something else. Any
suggestions?
One reason why we are thinking about replacing MacAfee is that last
year when we
upgraded to version 8.5 Enterprise (from v8 or 7.5 ??) our server
immediately ran
VERY much slower.

How does the user logon, via RDC from a workstation, which is a domain member
or same workgroup member? Or direct on the server desktop? Was the server
a domain member before?

Web Server 2008

I currently am running Windows 2000 server on a dedicated, co-located 1U
server on which I:
1) host web sites
2) provide DNS services for the domains to the hosted web sites
I am thinking about upgrading to Windows Server 2008. Will the Windows Web
Server 2008 edition suffice for my needs?
If so, does installing WS2008 destroy my existing virtual webs and DNS
tables?

Download TreeSize Free from jam-software and run that, opening it on your C
drive. (Download from http://www.jam-software.com/freeware/index.shtml). It
will give you a very intuitive display showing where all your space has
gone. Once you know where the space has gone then you can start to think
about what to do with it.
