community theater pit?
(01 Jun 2009)
I am a high school student who plays alto. I am thinking about auditioning for a spot in the pit for a local community theater musical. I've done one musical before, in the pit for my high school's musical. What do you guys think? Is it worth the shot?

Pit bulls - Opinions?
(10 Jun 2009)
I'm not a fan -- nothing but bad experiences through my work. People can say "it's not the breed" all day, but you don't hear about poodles mauling small children.

Quote: : Introduction
Hello! It´s my pleasure to introduce to you the Pit team battles thread! This thread is dedicated for the discussion about Pit and his partners in 2 vs 2 battles. It was born because there´s been some demand for the doubles tactics and partners thread lately.

POCKET PIT BREEDING OF THE YEAR!
What up EE,
I am really excited to introduce this breeding. This breeding took place over the weekend 6-5-09 through 6-7-09. After thinking about it long and hard considering all the bad ass studs out right now, I decided to breed my lil bitch Silly to none other than the Infamous ABKC Champion Lil Ty of Tsunami Kennels . Everyone that know Lil Ty, can agree that he is one awesome boy to look at. He is extremely short, compact, wide, and most importantly CORRECT...

Pit Fiend vs Balor
(23 Jun 2009)
Disclaimer: This may be in the wrong subforum
This is not a thread to see who would win 1 on 1.
I want to see people opinions of which one is more likely to give a group of adventurers a hard time in a battle. I have never ran or played against either one, and they seem pretty similar so I was looking for some opinions.

Back yard fire pits
(06 Jun 2009)
Should the City of Calgary Ban the use of back yard Fire Pits?
-Yes
-No
-A permit should be required to use a fire pit.
I'm curious to see what the CP
community thinks about Calgarians being allowed to have back yard fire pits for the few months of summer.
This issue seems to get a bit more "Heated" (pardon) every year, I've heard rumblings that the issue is going to council and there may be a ban.
....Thanks CMPunk for the "Poll" Info.
THX.

(16 Apr 2009)
Hi there guys,
Im thinking about buying this bike as my first pit bike:

I dont want a used one and my budgt is relatively low for pit bikes so this was the best one I could find for my budget.
Is it a good bike?
How long will it last for?
Whats the seat height?
Do they need servigin/maintenance often?
Thanks HydroJohn

How can we compete with PIT?
(08 Jun 2009)
I know Tavares is the popular choice around here, but I don't think it will be possible to try to build a team that will out-firepower the Penguins. I think our best bet to compete is to build a team that is very strong from the net out, thus taking Hedman.
I know we need to walk before we run, I.E. thinking about just making the playoffs before we think about taking the East, but let's think about this: Even if it takes us 5 years to reach "Cup Contender" level, Crosby and Malkin will not only...

Generic Question: Barrel Pitting Issues
(12 Apr 2009)
Not exactly where this should be posted but I'm here the most...
At what point does exterior barrel pitting compromise barrel safety and strength? Recently, I purchased a rifle and all the metal looked excellent - including the bore. However, once I got it home, I took it apart and noticed some pretty bad pitting beneath the stock line. All the rust is gone now and you can see bare metal in all the pits. Thankfully, when the gun is together, not a single pit can be seen.
Personally, I don't thin...
