1. - Something to think about, put it on your back burner and remember this....   (22 May 2009)
Something to think about, put it on your back burner and remember this. This is from my insight not my friends, although my friends think this is to complex to think out. All investor knowledge is based on the known's of the investment world. Since that is how future conclusions are determined. What if the USA Treasury defaulted on it's obligations, not short term obligations. They can not on the short term. It would freeze everything in the markets. But, what if they gave up 10-30 yr. treasurie...

2. something to think about   (03 May 2009)
Quote: : Not long ago, sports writer Selena Roberts compared the Duke lacrosse players to gang members and career criminals. She claimed that the playersÂ’ unwillingness to confess to or snitch about a rape (that did not happen) was the equivalent of drug dealers and gang members promoting antisnitching campaigns. When since-disgraced district attorney Mike Nifong whipped up a media posse to rain justice on the drunken, male college students, Roberts jumped on the fastest, most influential horse,...

4. What do you think about Djokovic thinking that he can beat Nadal on clay?...   (24 Apr 2009)
TENNIS NEWS DJOKOVIC: I CAN BEAT NADAL ON CLAY Novak Djokovic may have been unable to end Rafael Nadal's amazing run of results at Monte Carlo but the Serb firmly believes he has the world number one's number on clay heading into next month's French Open. Nadal claimed his fifth successive Monte Carlo Masters title with a 6-3 2-6 6-1 win over Djokovic in Sunday's final, and he continues to look unbeatable on his favoured surface. However, world number three Djokovic produced what he felt was his...

Obama plan to disband Bioethics Council draws criticism Comments: 0 President Barack Obama / Prof. Robert George Washington D.C., Jun 23, 2009 / 06:14 am ( CNA ) .- Last week, it was made public that President Obama will disband the President's Council on Bioethics, and create a new bioethics commission, whose members he will appoint. The decision has drawn criticism from those who believe it is simply an attempt to replace current Council members with more liberal ones. Since 1974, presidential...

6. What do you guys think about an orchestra touring with the band?   (24 Apr 2009)
Wouldn't it be amazing to see a full orchestra playing with the band? That's something I've often thought about since the NR video. Do you guys think the logictics could work out? I actually believe that there's a chance...however slight...that it could happen! http://www.upstartblogger.com/the-axl-rose...ool-of-blogging Axl Rose, the notoriously unpredictable front man of Guns NÂ’ Roses, proudly sticks out like a sore thumb in the increasingly sanitized and manufactured music industry. While mos...

7. As I sat here watching Bill Maher, I kept thinking about honor...   (16 May 2009)
Be it amongst thieves or those claim divine inspiration or just plain professional political commentators, honor came to mind. For the past eight years, there has been an awful lot of talk about doing the right thing, about protecting the American people from harm with the dire caveat at any cost added for effect. This sentiment, of course, goes hand in hand with the pragmatic theme that the ends truly do justify the means. The two republicans on the panel were definitely subscribers to the prag...

8. Believer's Opinions of Atheists   (24 Apr 2009)
I'm an atheist living in central Mississippi, in fact, I live in the most religious county in the state according to the 2000 census. Since I'm living in the Bible Belt and I can hardly tell anyone I'm atheist, I hear a lot of opinions of atheists that I know are just wrong. I hear that we're satan worshippers who, if we had our way, would turn America into an immoral pit of hell where murder, rape and rampant drug use exist. I actually heard that coming from a friend's mother. Not everyone says...

9. Toyota thinking about their future in F1   (10 May 2009)
Toyota has become the first team to confirm it is unlikely to enter the 2010 world championship unless 'significant' compromises are made to plans for a voluntary budget cap for next season. Amid increasing unhappiness from teams about the decision of the FIA to impose a two-tier budget cap system next year, with a number of outfits evaluating whether or not to hold back on entering the 2010 championship, Toyota president John Howett has said his team was currently not in a position to commit fo...

10. What do you think about the recently found "Missing Link"?   (19 May 2009)
Just curious what everyone's opinion is on this? http://news.sky.com/skynews/Home/Wor...liest_Ancestor The search for a direct connection between humans and the rest of the animal kingdom has taken 200 years - but it was presented to the world today at a special news conference in New York. The discovery of the 95%-complete 'lemur monkey' - dubbed Ida - is described by experts as the "eighth wonder of the world". They say its impact on the world of palaeontology will be "somewhat like an asteroi...
