Hello,
I have recently stumbled upon a hefty real estate commission, and I think I want to treat myself to a new pistol..you know, as a reward to myself I'm liking the Pro Covert II and think it might be the one.
First, I know there are plenty of 1911 options out there and some might feel that for a "bit more" I can "upgrade" to a Wilson, Baer, Ed Brown, etc. I don't really want to go this route. People say, "Once you get a (insert high-end name here) you will see the difference in quality." I d...

I would guess they're going to have to do a forward split to enable the BigBoyz to buy in more easily. And with FD less than 30M, that could be a 2:1 or even 3:1 split. And I like that, b/c that would allow even more retail investors to jump in. I do think we'll eventually hit double digits, and I suppose we might not do a split until then, but I think it's more likely that they'll announce a split sometime...

THis all started because I wanted to get a cheap $100 upgrade stand alone camera from my current one.. a 2mp cellphone camera.
But now I am going to go pick up a Canon SD1200 which is very nice for a simple, very small, point and shoot camera for everyday shooting.
But now I would like to get an advanced camera in the future, something more professional, in a few months maybe. Not a DSLR, I'm saving those for a couple years, but another point and shoot/compact. The big difference is I want one w...

OK. So here's the deal.

Full Frame Digital Back for Mamiya RZ67 pro II

I am throwing the initiative to create a petition group for either Mamiya Company or Phase-One, or any other digital back manufacturer.
This is a petition to have available a Full Frame digital back for RZ67, in order to have wide angle lenses full performance.
This is a call to the mentioned manufacturers to make a 56×69,5 mm sensor digital back.
In my opinion, we may not need such extremely high resolution backs as 40 or 65 megapixels, but we do want to use our lenses as we used them with film...

Thinking about an HDTV: questions for owners.

So right now I have a standard-def 5.1 video system. I have digital cable which connects to the set via a standard coax cable connector from the converter. I use a combination of S-Video and Analog Audio (L-R) cables for other sources and I'm thinking that since my set broke today, I should be thinking about a plasma or LCD HD set.
Assuming that I don't want to upgrade any sources right now - I just want a new TV - will a new HDTV have the necessary CATV, S-Video, Audio L-R inputs for my sources...
