1993 transmission problem - tcm bad?

I wanted to get other opinions in on this problem -
I have a 93 GC (2WD) 4.0L with the 42RE transmission - 220K miles on it! recently the transmission started acting up - I only have 2 speeds on it, 2 and 3 I think, seems weak starting from a stop and revs up near 3K at 55mph.
when I try to manually shift there is no diff between 1 and 2. the O/D button does not work anymore either. when I extract the error codes for the TCM I get 21, 22 & 23. which indicate bad solenoids.

Something i have been noticing lately on these boards are the increasin` number of both pokemon trading/battling topics and of pokemon topic haters as well.
I must say that i`m annoyed by how these haters are behaving.
They just sit on their lazy butts and keep complaining: "Boohoo!!! Da DS Board is full of pokeman topix, bohoo!!! I Want mommy, i will stop posting here, Boohoo!!!"
Now when i signed on gamespot, i used to believe that the experienced users were real men and women with strong will...

In my most humblest of opinions (wacky double-superlative intended)...
Someone keeps reposing that (might I say) BRILLIANT post (no, I didn't author it)
