Thinking about possibly buying a PC for editing... I need your thoughts

Hey guys,
Money is tight, I'm a young editor and I need some advice. I really need a mac pro to start doing serious graphics work etc. (I currently have an older MBP w/ FCS2)The problem is, I don't have the 3500 dollars to build a top of the line system as well as purchase the newest FCS3 coming out soon.
The more I read, the more I'm seeing that I can build a really bad ass PC machine for around 1200 bucks that can handle everything I throw at it and then some.

Okay guys...im a complete noob when it comes to anything Apple and the wifey is thinking of buying me a new desktop...
i hear a lot of good things about apples...main use for me will be internet browsing and heavy photo editting...

...with grab release stuff. I know we probably have some stuff on wario (not sure, I don't know the match up), but after seeing Ally's falcon grab-release-destroy dojo (even though he lost the match, just barely ...lol), it got me thinking about what we might potentially have against other characters.
Also, I love how I had never heard we had a grab release against metaknight, or against any other character for that matter. rofl. Thanks for sharing, Ally....xD

Hey hows it going guys, I'm thinking about buying a MSI GX610 laptop and I would like to know others opinions on the specs, the company, the price etc etc. First of all things you should know about me. whilst playing LBP the other day i got thinking about games that could possibly fall into the same catorgory i.e tinker with everything make your own thing
i thought to myself there isnt anything
....then it hit me music

back in the PS2 days i used to tinker with MTV music Generator
the problem with that software was though that due to a lack of hard drive for ripping your own cd's it was very limited

Thinking about creating an asset pack, any ideas?

I have forever tried to make maps for TF2. Even if I know Hammer very well I am still too lazy to complete maps. It pretty much sucks in my opinion, since I also make models and textures and I'd really love to give my own approach to the game. Now, I do have a solution...
