Thinking about buying a Kimber Pro Covert..opinions wanted.
(09 Jun 2009)
Hello,
I have recently stumbled upon a hefty real estate commission, and I think I want to treat myself to a new pistol..you know, as a reward to myself I'm liking the Pro Covert II and think it might be the one.
First, I know there are plenty of 1911 options out there and some might feel that for a "bit more" I can "upgrade" to a Wilson, Baer, Ed Brown, etc. I don't really want to go this route. People say, "Once you get a (insert high-end name here) you will see the difference in quality." I d...

Thinking about a new TS
(25 Jun 2009)
I currently have a 20 year old Craftsman contractor saw. I only do hobby work but do build nice furniture type projects. I have been considering a new saw and think the Grizzly G0478 may be what I need. It's their hybrid, 2 HP cabinet saw.
I know I've come to the right place for opinions so let me know what you think. The price on it right now is $850 + $89 shipping and is at the upper limit of what I feel I can spend.

Thinking about a goundpounder....
(20 Jun 2009)
Just messing around with the idea, if you had lets say a 5k (Team Cactus, Atomic, RD, AB, etc...) and around 10 to 11ft3 gross, what would you do, a really nice pair of 15s ported or a lot of smaller drivers with smaller RMSs?
What something that going to sound good at any volume level, I know both type of setups can, just curious to some opinions.
I like the RE SEs, 8 12s sealed could go in that space with around 600ish per sub, as long as I could keep the voltage up.
Input is apperciated, than...

Thinking about KYB/Eibach combo....Opinions?
(08 Jul 2009)
Ok well I may as well start from the top. I have Tokico blues with the Tokico springs. They are a 1.75 drop all around and it looks great except for the horrible camber. So I put on a camber kit, now the rear tires rub the fender. So I am thinking about getting the Eibach 1.3 drop springs and I am thinking while I am at it, I may as well get an adjustable strut to go with them.
Just looking for your guys opinion on that specific combo. I feel the 1.75 is too low not to mention that my wheels rub...

New to the forums, thinking about getting a TDI
(07 Jul 2009)
Good morning/afternoon everyone,
As the post states I am new here, thinking about trading in my current vehicle for a 2009 Jetta TDI. I've been doing a lot of research on them and it is one nice car! I currently drive a 2008 Mazdaspeed 3, fell in love with the car back in '07 for its power, now I hardly ever really get it up to speed. Ive taken a more conserveitive apporach to driving recently because of the cost of fuel etc.
While I do still love the drive of the mazdaspeed, and do still have f...

Talk to me - seriously thinking about buying an Audio 100 Quattro 2.8 Estate...
(08 May 2009)
Went to have a look at one this evening. Very well looked after, bit of rust on the front wheel arches but other than that straight as.
Starts well from cold (as cold as it has been today). Drives nicely.
Need to sleep on it, I'd appreciate any opinions from people who know their Audis to help me with my decision making.
