A foster dog being adopted, I mean.
I know everyone has their favorites, they can look back, and just smile when they think about them, and would have no problem taking them back if the home didn't work out, but you're genuinely happy about their new homes, so you're okay with it. I have plenty of those.
I've even had a few that I desperately wanted to keep, and could barely bring myself to list, but knew it was in the dogs best interest, and then getting updated pics of them being spoiled rotte...
