1. hate to ask it bunker boots? (globe, pros...?)   (23 Jun 2009)
hello, Yes, I've read the other threads on bunker boots, but seeing how the last thread I read was a year ago, I wanted to see how the GLOBE boots are holding up. I work at a station that is fairly busy, we run about 20 calls per day and run about a fire a shift and a few tc's a day and about 4-7 after midnight (I wear my bunker pants to these), so the boots def will be used a lot. A lot of the guys I work with are using the pro warringtons 5006 model, and I've finally decided to take the step a...

2. Specialized Globe vs. Breezer Uptown   (12 May 2009)
I've spent a few weeks, now, looking for a good bike that I've come to learn is called a "commuter"/"city"/"urban". I feel I've pared my likes down to the Specialized Globe series (perhaps the Vienna Deluxe 3) and the Breezer bikes (perhaps the Uptown). Does anyone have any opinions as to how these two bikes compare with each other? Both look to have internal gearing, dynamo-powered lights, a rear-rack, fenders, a bell, and an "upright" riding position. The prices, too, appear to be comparable....

9. My Insomnia - what do you think about Brazil?   (15 Apr 2009)
I am a little wrathful today. I have insomnia. Maybe because I can't find a way to become a millionaire in a easy way, or maybe I have a lot to do tomorrow morning at work (and for the unbelievers, the standard work time of Brazil is from 08:00 AM to 12:00 AM, and them from 01:30 PM to 06:00 PM - this means I need to wake up near to 07:00 AM). By the way, my english sucks. And this firefox spelling checker sucks too - I don't want to know if "english" is writted with capital letter "E". Even its...
