We live in a 3200 square foot 2 level home. We have 3 units. For the past several years, we've used a window unit to help cool down the larger bedroom while allowing the AC unit to cool the other 2 bedrooms. I'm so tired of the noise of the window unit and the inconvenience of getting DH to install and remove it each season. Plus it can't be that energy effecient.
The AC unit is still functioning fine(it is about 9 years old) so I'm having a really hard time deciding to spend so much money. Toda...

I'm 21 years old, 22 at the end of the year. I graduated high school in 2005 and I still live with my parents, go to a local community college, and have exactly half of my transfer classes I need to transfer to a UC or Cal State or something.. or somewhere else..? I just feel lost. I first wanted to do Pharmacy, but it's way too much work for me especially because I absolutely hate chemistry/biology. I just can't see myself doing that for the rest of my life, yeah the money's good but I won't be...

Thinking about selling the coupe - Need some advice

My wife and I are having a house being built that should be completed in late Aug. She drives an '05 pathfinder and I DD the coupe. I'd really like to have a pickup truck, but not sure which way to go.

Should I think about purchasing a home?

Well I am currently 26 years old and 3 1/2 years out of college. Recently I've been thinking about selling my 04 330ci that I bought two years ago and buying a CPO'd 335i coupe for roughly around the same amount, but probably a little more.
However now I've been thinking that maybe I should just save the money over the next year and buy a place next spring. I always told myself that I don't want to be 30 years old living with roommates and paying someone elses mortgage.
But is now the right time...

Okay so to start of with, I live in new zealand. So it isn't that serious here. There is about 30 confirmed cases and 400 suspected. But i think that the media are making a big deal about it. Let me show you why i think so.
Take the swine flu and the common flu.
In about 2 months, The swine flu has made about 700,000 cases world wide.
Yet the flu has about 4,000,000 cases world wide also.
The swine flu has killed about 500.
The common flu kills about 100 or more a day
