First impression of Manchester?
Hey guys:)
I'm considering putting down Manchester University as my firm choice but I would like to know what your first impressions of the city (and uni) were? Was it daunting as some people have described it and did it take you a long time to get settled? I live in Finland and I've never been to Manchester or even the UK so some opinions would be great:)

Bristol or Manchester?
I'm doing Geography, and really need to decide between Bristol and Manchester. I love both, both cities are amazing, although Bristol would be a bit nearer everything as I live in London. The courses are quite different though - Bristol seems more fixed whereas there is a lot more choice of modules in Manchester, does anyone know more about this or have opinions on it?
Also, there's obviously a lot of talk about Bristol being elitist and just for Oxbridge rejects and eve...

Manchester Cosmopolitan Halls
Hey I'm heading to Man Met in september and Im really stuck on where to go for my student accommodation? I'll be at Hollings campus so anything in that kind of area would be good I guess has anyone got any suggestions, preferably from past experiences good/ bad and other shiz?
I was thinking about Cosmopolitan halls cause they seem pretty decent but Im open to suggestions :)

Just saw the full game today vs Ireland and he was as rubbish as you can get. I know he didn't have his chance at Manchester United this year, but he hasn't deliver in my opinion, of course he scores goals, but sometimes he looks like he doesn't care AT ALL.
+ I don't think he is worth all the money that United payed for him.

Alan Hansen a famous TV pundit once said "you can win nothing with kids". So far no-one has proved him wrong. Arsenal have come close but have lacked defensive solidity to win the title with there youth.
