1. From now on, Tanny should really start thinking about stockpiling more picks...   (27 Apr 2009)
I love what he did these past 2 days. But teams build depth on their team through the draft by getting 7 players or so. The Jets haven't drafted 7 players under Tannenbaum. I realize he's been getting good players, and that's what's most important. But at this point, they need to start thinking about depth on the roster. Come next year, they need to start thinking a little bit more about quantity in my opinion.

2. Local Bike shop bikes: Picks and opinions of them   (20 Apr 2009)
I may purchase from my LBS soon. Can you post a picture of your bike and what you like about it. I hear great things about them sometimes. Can you share? When I purchase my bike I will post it here. If you can't say something nice please don't post here. Thanks.

In this thread I will post my leans and opinions about the games and some free picks. My actual bets are available in my blog. I only bet 1 or 2 games each day and I do really well. You can see all my results and achievements in my blog.

4. Who would you trust more making the picks, the Bills or the fans?   (24 Apr 2009)
If the fans could vote on who the Bills should draft when they make their picks this weekend, who do you think would do a better job? Think about all the information available to fans now. I actually think the fans could draft better.

5. Something to think about....   (07 May 2009)
Now Im not saying I would rather have this happen but look at this. Philly had the number 21 and 28 picks We got the number 28 instead of 21 At number 21 Alex Mack goes If we could of worked out a deal for 21 instead of 28 we would prob have Mack Just something to think about

6. Yes, I know that it's early to think about 2010.   (12 May 2009)
Ok, I was thinking about next year's draft. This is what I came up with. What do you all think about it? Round 1, Pick# 10 - Terrence Cody, NT, Alabama Round 1, Pick# 25 - Dez Bryant, WR, Oklahoma State We combine our 2 2nd rd picks to move up and get this great WR. Round 3, Pick# 10 - Joe Pawelek, ILB, Baylor Round 4, Pick# 10 - Chris Hall, C, Texas Round 5, Pick# 10 - Ryan D'Imperio, LB, Rutgers He can play both inside and outside versatile! Round 6, Pick# 10 - Anthony Dixon, RB, Mississippi S...

7. I hope the Cowboys pick another QB with those 12 draft picks.   (27 Apr 2009)
I'm not sure why Jerry Jones is stockpiling (with no picks on day #1) all those draft picks because most of the players will not make the team. I do however hope that he picks another QB to start grooming if Romo doesn't pan out or gets injured. They need to start thinking about their future at that position instead of the "we're all set" mentality. Does anyone think Jerry knows what he's doing? I could use the vote of confidence.

8. Proposal: Salary Dumps for Picks   (06 Jun 2009)
It has been suggested in many threads that the Leafs should take advantage of the cap situation, and take on contracts from teams that need cap space, or are struggling financially, in exchange for draft picks. After thinking about this, and doing some looking around, here are my top 5 targets: 1. Nylander - Washington: 35 years old - cap hit 4.87M for one more year Could get a prospect like Carlson or a 2nd round pick? 2. Aaron Ward - Boston: 35 years old - cap hit of 2.5M for one more year Cou...

9. Our Top Ten Picks - How many 200 game players   (17 Jun 2009)
I was thinking about this last night, out of the top ten picks we have had recently, how many will get to the 200 game mark? Personally I think there is a change that none of them will, which is quite a shock. For us to have such a promising young list, it shows to me that 1 - We have done really well with our 2nd-4th round picks 2 - We may be short of a truely elite player in the future (ie Judd, Bartel) 3 - That a team DO NOT need to bottom out to grow a good young list, we could of easily don...

10. Kirby's NBA Picks for Sunday   (26 Apr 2009)
Alright guys, so yesterday was the big payday. Today can be as well, we just have to remember what we learned in the past and apply it. With that said, I'm going to assume that a lot of people will be against my picks. But I truly believe that my structure and formula works. Boston @ Chicago The Pick: Boston +3 The Pick: Under 200 Predicted Outcome: Boston 99, Chicago 81 Alright, I'd have to admit, I was a little shocked when I saw this line. Did people forget game three? Not like it was two mon...
