----Like music to my ears: With the first pick in the 2009 NBA Draft...
Love it. Feel it. The sensation that indicates a new wave of youth and talent and optimism is entering the league.
But I couldn't feel it. And I didn't love it. What I felt, was the same thing I heard.
The King (LeBron, please sit down).
Michael Jackson. The King of Pop. Not just...

Yao Ming and T-Mac: Too much risk, not enough reward
(11 May 2009)
Let me first say I love the way Yao played in this season and the progress he made over the course of his career in a Rockets jersey. And T-Mac is one of the most talented players to ever play the game. That said: If these guys where stocks in our portfolio, I wouldn't want to find less risky stocks to offset them...I would want to sell these stocks or get rid of them and get stocks with a higher reward/risk ratio . It's not like when these guys play we go to the Finals. WE JUST MADE IT TO THE S...

Ming Explains What The American Cancer Society Cannot Seem To Fathom
Like most ignorant people, Ming has strong opinions on everything. One of those opinions revolves around Provenge's ability to prolong survival yet not of necessity also reduce tumor mass or time to progression. It's well accepted(at least by Ming), that the tumor doesn't cause fatality but rather the distant metastasis which does. Therefor, Provenge's salutary effect on the immune system enables it to attack those distant mets...

Return of the Minge (Well sorta).
(18 Jun 2009)
Well after 24 hours of being in the naughty corner, I have been allowed back onto League Unlimited.
Apparently my crime was excessive trolling on the Cronulla Forum and was given 24 hours to think about it. Well I have thought about it and Im led to ask Is it not permitted to tell the truth or pose unpopular questions.
My offences were (and you can look, there still there).
A) Commenting in a thread titled "Paul Gallen goes Nuts". The incident invoves Grub Gallen being accused by Michael Crocker...

Yao Ming will wait week before surgery decision
(03 Jul 2009)
Posted 03 July 2009 - 08:12 PM
Quote: BEIJING (AP)—Houston Rockets All-Star center Yao Ming(notes) will have to wait up to a week before he knows whether he will need surgery on his broken left foot.
The playing future of the 7-foot-6 Yao is in question amid reports from the team doctor that the hairline fracture in his foot could keep him out all of next season, and potentially end his career.
“It hasn’t been decided yet,” Yao’s agent, Eric Zhang, told The Associated Press on Friday. “He is sti...

Your Thoughts On Yao Ming?
(06 May 2009)
Alright so I bring this up now beacuse of the game last night that featured the Rockets and Lakers. Im perticualry focusing on Yao as a player not in just last nights game but the season as a whole. For the first time in a while we have seen Yao stay pretty healthy for the most part.
My question is what do you guys think about Yao Mings progress in the NBA. Are you finally getting the feeling that Yao is in a comfort zone, and is getting tougher? Because the word soft and Yao have been stuck tog...

China official doubts Yao Ming injury's seriousness
(30 Jun 2009)
BEIJING (AFP) A senior Chinese sports official expressed disbelief following a report that basketball icon Yao Ming may not play next season and could be facing a career-ending injury.
Chinese fans also largely voiced skepticism over the 2.26-metre (seven-foot-six-inch) centre's repeated injuries, speculating it could be a ploy to lower the price of his contract, which is soon up for renewal.
Yao's camp had earlier given a pessimistic read-out on the slow recovery of his broken foot to the Chi...

Hero
(03 Jul 2009)
I revisited the film HERO recently, and found that to my surprise, that there are many many feats of martial prowess that rivals and exceeds many legendary GL or JY characters.
Jet Li's Wu Ming (Nameless) and Tony Leung's Broken Sword can be placed near the top of any wuxia list.
Opinions?
