NSBR Board - "Thinking about replacing air conditioning unit...is it worth...

We live in a 3200 square foot 2 level home. We have 3 units. For the past several years, we've used a window unit to help cool down the larger bedroom while allowing the AC unit to cool the other 2 bedrooms. I'm so tired of the noise of the window unit and the inconvenience of getting DH to install and remove it each season. Plus it can't be that energy effecient.
The AC unit is still functioning fine(it is about 9 years old) so I'm having a really hard time deciding to spend so much money. Toda...

I keep seeing the same asinine complaints over and over again. Let's stop and think about them for a minute:
Complaint 1: The developers are releasing content without any regard for what the players think.

I have watched from a distance the ongoing battle to *regain" Truck.Net. I have kept quiet, with minor exception and I figure now is as good a time as any to hit the fan with it.

Now, not tomorrow or next week, we shall discuss the forbidden topic on message boards, religion. This issue is quite touchy for many people, so Id like to ask anyone in the topic to be open to criticism and other ideas different from your own.

In sixth grade, my teacher, Mr. Zoller gave us a creative writing assignment every Friday, a story we had to write over the weekend. Most of mine ended up being about Starbuck and Han Solo uniting to save the universe from Ming the Merciless.
One day a week, we'd have storybook time, and he'd read to us. He read "Where the Red Fern Grows" and other stories.
One time, he read a story to us about a boy who meets a strangely disfigured, reclusive man, and establishes a bond of friendship with him....

I've had some time on my hands lately. The stimulus hasn't gotten to me yet. In the relative peace of my home I've been reading the forums here and pondering My (our) immediate future.
I don't know what the last straw will be, but I see the hand writing on the wall. It's all documented within these forums. The spiritual warfare. The Peace Plans. The sunset of our republic....
It isn't much of a stretch to imagine waking up to a world without comcast broadband,the web, or even lights and running...

I'm new to the board - have been an Indy Car fan since I was a kid.
I have my own opinions about CART/IRL. This topic is not about any of that, so please don't go there.
This is a thought about the Kansas race that popped into my head, especially after re-watching the 2000 and 2001 CART Michigan 500 races.
I remember reading a few comments on here that the passing and lead changes were extremely lacking at Kansas. I agree. It reminded me of what oval racing was in the early to mid 1990's with CA...
