Im thinking about joining the army

My parents are pushing me into Tafe, a place where you earn certificates for things such as Information Tech, and Trades etc.
yeah, the original idea was for me to become a carpenter...but I dont really enjoy working with wood.
Now the idea is for me to goto Tafe and become a junior Accountant...its good money and stuff just like a trade, but sitting at a desk punching numbers all day is shite, ive done similar work to this and it would be torture...
I want to get out there, do all sorts of stuf...

I'm going to be graduating in December and I'll have my BBA. I'm seriously considering going into the Army soon after.
This is what's going through my mind:
Pros: Guaranteed job, decent pay if I become an officer, get to travel, seems like it would be a good challenge, would meet some great people
Cons: I could get shot in the face, I could immeadiately regret signing up (my biggest fear, but I was told that everyone goes through this phase)

i would like to get a BP revolver.
I have decided on the Uberti Army
or the uberti New army.
I like the look of the open top army.
Seems like the new Army would ahve better sights.
I like accuracy.
Suggestions, thoughts experience opinions.
I might be interested in getting a 45LC conversion cylinder.

Thinking about Joining Army Reserves CID

I'm thinking when my enlistment is up in the NYARNG, into enlisting withe CID in the reserves I've been in the service between active duty marines and reserves a total of 11 yrs.. I hold the MP MOS and I'm currently A NYS LESO for 10 yrs. and also a former Custom inspector for 2 yrs. Any advice or info on the closet unit to NY is greatly appreciated. Hooyah!!

any advice i rely dont want to. but im just thinking of the money ill be getting. im a lil over weight 230 6"0. im just wondering what should i get my self into. i rely dont want to go over seas but will. but what all the lil secrets to being in the army or national guar and what the diffrence between them.

Hey guys, Ive been thinking about setting up a small tank on my desk at work, 5 gallons, and just running a few corals and a few clown gobies. due to the fact they are like an inch long and barely eat anything, how many do you think I could fit in a 5 gallon tank without pushing it too far?

What do you guys think of Army of Two?

My brother wants to play more co-op games and the only one we really haven't tried is Army of Two. I'm hearing and reading reviews and what I get is that the game is a good co-op game but a shallow single player one.
When I buy games, I still want a good single player experience with the co-op. I like the luxury of having the option to play by myself or with a friend/brother whenever I want to.
So I guess my question is, is Army of Two a pretty good shooting game? I know it's like Gears of War a...

Tailoring an army to your opponent's army

I've often noted that most people on here seem to disagree with an opponent tailoring their army to the army they will face in a battle, and i have seen that for some people it borders on cheating almost. I was just wondering if people could give their opinions/explain why it is seen like this?
