1. Prepurchase Questions (Cub 2542 or 2544)   (20 May 2009)
Hi, I've been looking to get a new tractor along with a snow thrower for it since this winter when my back started acting up. In addition to the snow thrower I'd like to put a Johnny Bucket on it to help move compost, mulch, and maybe a little gravel around. I garden a lot and think the Johnny Bucket will spare my back some. I currently have a Craftman YS4500 which I use for mowing(3/4 acre lot), but I don't really feel comfortable putting a Johnny bucket on it and getting a blower as I'm concer...

2. Tom Leykis Speaks About Manny & Baseball   (09 May 2009)
Thought about some of you guys here when I read this from his myspace blog. Much Ado About Manny I woke up to the news about Manny Ramirez and I could only laugh. I laugh at the suckers who are such fervent baseball fans that they sit on hold for an hour waiting to give their opinions on sports radio shows. I giggle at all you maroons who think that these guys could care less about your city…or what team they play for…as long as they get the biggest contracts they possibly can. I laugh at the pe...

3. Next Batch of Disney Exclusives Coming to Stores:   (12 May 2009)
Donald in Mathmagic Land Ride a Wild Pony Yellowstone Cubs The only one I really know anything about is the first because I redeemed DMR points to get it with Ducktales: The Movie, and I don't think it should be only that on a DVD. I think that if they're gonna release it to the public, release it as a Walt Disney Animation Collection DVD. I know I'd only pay, like, $5 for it by itself on DVD. Anyway, what are your opinions on the other discs?

4. Opinionated opinions about a years worth of Cars.   (13 Apr 2009)
Hi Gang, Now that I have been in the business for a year and have handled a ton of cars I thought I would kick off a thread on the new releases. Sort of a year in review. All our Cars are run magnet out on a 70 ft, 6 lane, painted Scaley track with a variable power supply and a Trackmate lap Timer. We run at 12 volys most of the time. We chose to use Scaley track rather than routed becaus:e A) We needed the magnetism of steel rails. The Juniour Woodchunks need a LOT of practise before they will...

5. Is Soriano's deal w/ Cubs a wash?   (31 May 2009)
Anybody think that for what they are paying him, he should be more productive? I mean, he hasn't been a bad player at all. Very respectable. He'll probably hit around 40 HR's this year (at his current pace), but he'll only give them about 90 or less RBI's with a low BA and not nearly the impact they were hoping for I feel like Soriano is another guy who got his due too late. He's being paid for past glories but that doesn't help the Cubs. That's just my opinion. I'm sure many will feel I am way...

6. A few Cub's Tidbits, Some Complaints & Grievances   (24 Jun 2009)
Last night, the Cubs lost to the Braves in a makeup game from an earlier rainout. This is the kind of baseball that we have seen from the team for most of the season, at least before the recent four game winning streak occurred. The Cubs were able to collect 10 hits in the ballgame, and yet they failed to score a single run. They simply just could not advance the runners the entire game. Yeah, you could say that the main cause for that was because we were facing a pretty good pitcher, but that’s...

7. Deck Size and Brand   (14 May 2009)
I got into this mess part time this year and everything has been going great. Insured, licensed, the whole 9. I bought all of my hand helds, trailer, & push mower with cash. I chose to finance the rider. A cubcadet RZT 50" Well, at the time I didn't think I would need much more than a residential mower for the small amount of properties I was doing. Well I've picked up enough to keep me busy most of the daylight hours. I started entertaining the idea of upgrading to a commercial unit. My father'...

8. Thursday, 5/21/09, Common Thread   (21 May 2009)
Good morning! I am so very happy to be sitting here in my boot. The only fly in the ointment is having to use the walker all the time. I can put full weight on the foot next Wednesday, so another countdown for me! I am free to go places and do things, but realized that I really probably can't go alone. I can't carry anything while holding onto the walker and even tho I can get one of the motorized carts, what do I do with the walker? Hmmm. Anyway, I may see if Ann will do some running with me be...

10. .44 vs .454 vs .460 for Black Bear Defense   (13 May 2009)
I am been looking over and researching about the best type of bear defense gun/hiking/outdoor gun to purchase for the summer. I am planning to spend a lot of time in the forest doing hiking through trails and camping. From all my research I have been getting a lot of different opinions about different guns to get for bear defense. Some people have gone as far as saying not to carry a gun at all, just pepper spray. I was tracked by a bear in central Oregon coast trail , 7 years ago, and after tha...
