1. An interesting feature for web developers - Suggestions, Opinions & Requests...   (20 Jun 2009)
Hello everyone, First of all thanks for such a nice piece of software. I would like to suggest a nice feature for web developers. I would like to be able to view a website using custom screen resolutions. On all my systems my screen resolution exceeds the (old-fashioned) 1024x768. It would be great to define custom resolutions so to be able to test my web projects. Thanks, Nikos

2. Active Record Save (insert/update) And destroy Feature   (07 Apr 2009)
I've been thinking about this for a while and would like some others opinions on this matter. This thread is discusses the ideas related to this post and somewhat continuation. However, everything discussed in that post is working perfectly. Now what I need to do is decide the features and aesthetics for updating and destroying that should be supported. The obvious idea and one that most other similar patterns have to explicitly pull and object in to memory and set the property. Then call the sa...

3. An awful situation to think about...   (07 May 2009)
Now I was thinking about Ronnie Brown's status because of the Free Agent post. Lets just say Ronnie does get hurt (knock on wood), or his production drops dramatically. Then, the FO decides he's not worth it and we let him go. I was looking at this list of potential RB's and none really impress me. Maybe one or two, but do you think we'd pickup a feature back through the draft or free agency, or do you think we stay with what we have aside from Ronnie? I think this would be an interesting topic...

4. [Feature] 'mark occurences' for application context editor?   (04 Jul 2009)
Hi. Is there such a feature as to 'mark occurences' of a selected spring element (e. g. a bean id) in the applcation context XML editor of Spring IDE? Like the one for the JDT java file editor marking all read/write access to a selected field in a class. I did not find a Jira feature request for this but first wanted to ask here. Any opinions? Cheers, Axel

5. [Feature] Shell escape from Roo as in other *nix tools   (13 Jun 2009)
When I recently went through the roo example I did not like the notion having to quit the roo shell in order to issue Maven commands (like mvn eclipse:eclipse and the likes). I circumvented this issue by using separate 'screen' sessions (kind of terminal multiplexing, for those who do not know it already) in the same project directory, so I could easily switch between the roo shell and my default bash in order to issue those commands. But since roo is multi-platform and not everybode uses a pote...

6. Thinking about changing careers   (23 Jun 2009)
I've been in IT for 10 years and have had 9-5 jobs as well as a consulting business that built ground up infrastructure and systems for new companies. I've been a DIY home automation guy for a few months and am thinking about jumping ship and joining you guys in the Home Theater and Home Automation market. It seems there are any number of directions I could head in and I'm looking for advice on what to pursue. I'm in awe of the beautiful projects Electronic House feature and hope to make it to t...

7. Late Model Feature... Best ever ?   (23 Jun 2009)
What do you think about that feature tonight ? Side by side for multi laps, a finish side by side, with 5 cars, all within a second of the winner ? The paving of that track was an ultra smart move, as the racers can move up, and not have to knock the other car out, but rather go around, like you are supposed to. I can't remember a feature, especially Late Models, any closer than that. Ron Verash Stock Car Extreme

8. What language feature would you most like to see in the next release of Java...   (04 Jun 2009)
Possible Duplicates: What features would you like to see in Java? What are you looking forward to in Java 7? Iwas just wondering if anyone had any opinions on this. Perhaps its a feature of java 7 that you a particularly excited about?

9. Thinking about getting the HD 4890   (20 May 2009)
as i understand the 4890 is pretty much a tweaked/overclocked 4870. i am just tired of Nvidia lately (read my recent post on desktop scaling, and video black level), and tired of SLI. as i think i still have a pretty good chance to sell my still mint 9800GX2 on ebay for $200, which in term can get me an open box 4890 for the same price. i know that i will be sacraficing some potential performance due to SLI, but i am just tired of SLI and its lack of support, and in most real world cases, games...

10. new feature ?   (05 Jun 2009)
