Thinking about a lil lift opinions from owners please So I am new to the lifting aspect, off roading no, but lifting the 4runner yeah. Anyway since I cannot off road here in germany it would be cosmetic until I get back to the states (who knows when..) any suggestions, I am thinking 2" body and 2-3 suspension. Body 1st because they are cheaper. then palnning for a sus in the future Any preferred brands? as far a quality and economic value? (Trying to stay cheap).

So I was watching this video yesterday (70 year old man deadlifts 680 lbs, end of vid): And after my testicles re-descended, it occurred to me that if we could get a similar thing going, albeit online, it'd be a great training motivator. Well i just bought a used like new (within a month) #7000 lift with extended height and width with jacking trolly 4 post lift, 220 volt pump. for $2500 i didnt think i could go wrong. i saw the receipts they were over $6,000 by the time it was all said and done i was looking at bendpacs but this was local to me and i jumped on it. whats the general census on this lift... remember be kind but truthful ...i own it all ready

That is all. Just nothing better to do than post my intentions to possibly increase my altitude. I know enough not to ask questions, now I just need some parts. Thank goodness everyone wants to lower, I shoud get top dollar for my GF springs

I had a forum member asking me about lifting. I'm posting my answer here so other people who are wondering can read too. *-*-*-*-*-*-* You have to remember that this is a van and just wasn't designed for heavy duty off-road, such as a jeep or land rover, but you can't sleep in those. Astro/Safaris are missing off-roading features like high clearance, solid front axles and 2-speed transfer case, but with a little bit of work and money you can make a wicked camping van that is quite capable off-ro...
