Thinking about selling the coupe - Need some advice
(21 Jun 2009)
My wife and I are having a house being built that should be completed in late Aug. She drives an '05 pathfinder and I DD the coupe. I'd really like to have a pickup truck, but not sure which way to go.
I recently created the following post on SVT forums:
Quote: : So here's the deal. My wife and I just bought a house, and I'm considering a "more practical" vehicle. My wife drives an '05 Pathfinder, and I have an '01 BMW M-coupe. I'd really like a truck to make the runs to Lowe's, Home Depot, etc....

SWINE FLU : What i think about it
(12 Jun 2009)
Okay so to start of with, I live in new zealand. So it isn't that serious here. There is about 30 confirmed cases and 400 suspected. But i think that the media are making a big deal about it. Let me show you why i think so.
Take the swine flu and the common flu.
In about 2 months, The swine flu has made about 700,000 cases world wide.
Yet the flu has about 4,000,000 cases world wide also.
The swine flu has killed about 500.
The common flu kills about 100 or more a day

Kurt: Let's make a deal
(03 Jul 2009)
I'd like to explore what people (who know more about player deals than I do) think about what might transpire with Kurt Tippett next year at contract time.
Let me paint a scenario.
Disclaimer #1: I know very little about player payments so all the $ figures here are just for illustration. I don't pretend they're realistic.
Disclaimer #2: I'm assuming that if the club is dealing with KT during the 2010 season there will be no firm offer from the GC (they can't make an offer to a contracted player...

Let's Make a Deal!
(03 Jul 2009)
A young boy had just gotten his driver's permit and asked his father about use of the car.
His father said he'd make a deal with his son. "You bring your grades up from a C to a B average, study your Bible a little, get your hair cut and we'll talk about the car."
The boy thought for a moment, decided he'd settle for the offer and they agreed on it.
After about six weeks, his father said, "Son, I'm real proud. You brought your grades up and I've observed that you have been studying your Bible, b...

I am fairly new here, I do not post I just look at whats for sale. Ok. Here it goes. I was at work the other day and some moron decied that it would be a real funny joke to key the crap out of my car they gave me a happy birthday tag. SO I have been thinking I will be willing to offer my professional chef services (catering, private dinners) for a car that I can drive to work. I would love to pay cash but I have been off form work do to a car accident (this is what I bought to replace my totaled...

Thinking about selling some other big stuff...
(16 Apr 2009)
OK. So here's the deal.
I'm kinda done with composing. Sounds stupid I know. But seriously. I need to pay some ridiculous bills that just popped up and my wife doesn't start her new job for another month. So here goes:
I have a couple things I am looking to sale but I've encountered some retarded problems. This is what I've got:
NI Komplete 3 w/upgrade to 4 - that means FM8, Acoustic Piano, Reaktor 5, Guitar Rig 2, Vokator, Electrik Piano, Kontact 2 (with lib.), Kompact, Intakt, Spectral Delay,...

Orient fans have painful Hearnia to think about
(08 Jun 2009)
Just spent much of my afternoon writing a column for the Orient rivals site. I usually do "Match Previews" but have come up with this fairly emotional piece.
Quote: : After fourteen years in charge we look back on Barry Hearn's rein as Orient chairman and look ahead to the future and discuss what that holds for Barry and most importantly, the club. Quote: :
In 1995, Leyton Orient Football Club's one hundred and fourteen existence looked to be in jeopardy when chairman Tony Wood lost his coffee g...

how do you deal with unsolicited family opinions?
(20 Jun 2009)
Hello,
This is not wedding related and before I begin let me just say that I know my mother loves me very much and I do so as well.
We were on the phone today and she let me know all the bad things she thinks and freaks out about because my husband and I adopted a second big dog. She said she disapproves of our decision and thinks we'll jeopardize our well being (not enough time for "us" as a couple) and the safety of our unconceived children by having two big (and super gentle) dogs in the hous...

My roommate is thinking about getting a cobalt ss tc
(04 Jul 2009)
Anything he needs to know?
He might be getting a pretty good deal on a new '09. They let him have it for the night and he's liking it so far. He finally figured out what I was talking about when I said that bells/whistles/****ty interior can all be made unimportant based on how the car drives.

hospital birthers, anybody else thinking about refusing the eye goop or shots...
(01 Jun 2009)
We're having this baby in the hospital, and I'm thinking about refusing the erythromycin ointment and the Hep B shot. I'm completely undecided about the Vitamin K but leaning toward giving that one.
I just gave all of the above with my first 2, and haven't done a lot of research yet. From what I've read the eye ointment seems pretty unnecessary and I really don't want to make the baby's bad vision even worse when he's so new to the world. I'm not convinced about the Hep B shot at all - I don't h...
