May have been debated before but I thought I bring this up again.
I was thinking about Chinese martial arts and thought it might be overrated.
Do you think that a top Chinese martial arts practitional can beat a top Mixed martial arts fighter.

Hi! I'm from Maryland and have only posted a few times on DisBoards. I have been to Disney World several times in the past 10 years. Our next trip is in January 2010. I am traveling with my husband and my 2 year old son. We usually try to go to Disney once a year, but we haven't been to Disney since January of 2008 and it is killing me. Where History Comes Alive

I've been thinking about this for a bit lately, and I've been wondering do you think the motto "Where History Comes Alive" still suites VFK?
The only things VFK has that does with history are some of the quests, some rooms, and a character here and there.
I don't feel history "coming alive" at all.
This isn't really a rant, just a question for you out there.
Do you think the motto still suites VFK?

I was wondering if anyone uses/has used the GULP ALIVE! products. I was thinking about giving them a try and seeing if they actually work as good as the advertisements say. Does anyone have a preference on which Gulp ALive bait works best?I will be targeting rockfish from shore mainly. THanks

I was digging through my games and I found PotBS, and I was thinking about comming back to the game. Has it changed at all, and is the game still alive? I don't want to start playing again if no one plays it anymore. Thanks ahead of time.

I finally published my LBP masterpiece level. If I have to estimate (and, you know, I don't) I'd say I've spent somewhere between 75 and 100 hours creating and testing this baby. If you were thinking about killing yourself just now, do me a favour and play my level first. Maybe, just maybe, it'll give you a reason to live.

Alive or Not?

We definitely have some conflicting opinions here as to whether life is a qualitative measure or a quantitative one. While classification is an arbitrary measuring stick, I was thinking perhaps we could reach a consensus as to a working definition of "alive". If not, we could at least decide what features we each deem most important.
Off the top of my head, some questions I would ask and some grey area examples for discussion follow:

Any Iphone users here thinking about the upgrade to 3.0??

I started to download the new 3.0 software for my Iphone. After about fourty minutes I got an error message on the computer about the server timing out. I found I could no longer access the download site, I would get a time-out error message but could not re-try as the Iphone icon would then be gone. I closed Itunes and tried repeatedly with no luck. I then found the phone was locked-up and usless, displaying only a screen with a usb plug and an arrow pointing to an Itunes logo. This indicactes...
