Hi all
I'm new to the forum and looking for advice from anyone in the Haywards Heath or surrounding villages.
We will be completely new to Sussex when we move there later this year and I've been looking at properties in HH, Newick, Barcombe, Ditchling, Chailey etc etc.
Has anyone got any thoughts on whether house prices will drop in those areas or are they places where properties have kept their value?
Also any areas we should completely avoid?

So this season my friends and I decided to make a real go of playing golf on a regular basis. I went out and got a real set of clubs and decided to invest some time in playing (as opposed to the 10 9 hole rounds a year I usually play).
We have all subsequently become addicted to the sport. I can't stop thinking about playing and would probably play everyday if I didn't have to work.

So I just need a little outside perspective. Sorry this is so long -
I'm having a homebirth with my 2nd baby in the middle of August. I am not having it in MY home, but will be traveling 7 hrs away to my parent's home. It's where I grew up, very peaceful and nice usually and I was all set for this to happen, the date's getting closer and closer, I'm doing hypnobabies and pretty successfully overcoming fears stemming from an induced hospital birth with an awful tear with my first baby three years...

So I recently came up with this problem. I have a gf that lives in VA Beach. I come down to see her once every 2/3 weeks or she comes up to see me.
PROBLEM. She is 19. Her parents must think we're... doin it I guess. It went from it being cool for me being around there and her coming to see me and now all of a sudden her parents aren't comfortable. Helpful fact.... They're Asian.

Nearly half of women, 49 per cent, and a third of men, 33 per cent, said the publicity surrounding Goody's death from cancer earlier this year had helped people think about death.
The findings from an online poll of 1,018 adults in Britain commissioned for the public think-tank Theos also showed half the population fears the process of dying.
