Iraq War Video Game Abandoned After Pressure From Activists
(27 Apr 2009)
I thought this was an odd little story. LINK
Apparently, facing protests and pressure from anti-war groups, Konami (a Japanese video game manufacturer) has scrapped plans for their upcoming "Six Days In Falluja." The company claims they were out to make "the most realistic military shooter possible." Diaries, military documents, satellite imagery, interviews with Iraqis, fully-destructible environments, etc. In fact, they define it as a survival horror game.
No, I'm not a "gamer." But I'm curiou...

(26 Jun 2009)
This is an interesting read about the reaction to events in Iran by Arab activists in Egypt. Many of them are wondering why the Arab street has risen up in its own pro-democracy movement.
The piece also mentions a potential backlash towards the Obama Admin's cautious reaction to Iran.

etc., all got together, shared information, opinions and action strategies to support our President Obama and pressure our leaders to work for We The People?
There'd still be plenty to work out, together. We could call ourselves on the candidate Obama meme: We're all in this together.

What Can I Do? Advice for activists.
(10 Apr 2009)
by Michael Walker
W
hen Jared Taylor invited me to speak at the 2008 American Renaissance conference, he asked that I offer an update to a talk I gave on European nationalist movements at an AR conference 10 years ago. Instead, I proposed a talk with the title “What Can I Do?” which he bravely accepted, noting that it was “the most difficult subject of all.”
During the 10 years since I spoke to an AR audience, I have come to feel that a deep interest in the comings and goings — alas as much goin...
