Thinking about ditching 5DMII for 1DsMII, Need Opinion:

So this is where I am. I got the 5D Mark II a couple months back for 2300 with grip. I have been happy with it for the most part, but there are some things that kind of bug me. I like the low noise at 1600 and 3200 and the video is a nice touch to mess around with. The screen is very purtty too.
What I don't like is the AF. When I shoot in low light, which is a lot, the thing hunts. I use a 50 1.4 most of the time and it isn't the slowest lens out there, but not the fastest. I just drives me cra...

I currently shoot a mathews switchback xt....and have refused getting rid of it but i shot the reezen 6.5 and luved it...now I've learned from impulse buying over the years...now im doing my homework....just curious what you all know about this bow...i dont care if u shoot a blowtech or hoyt or watnot....just want a honest opinion. I dont care for the new MONSTER...too heavy and it's just an attempted rebound from the pse xforce....I shoot a 28.5" draw...so i'd like to be round 315 fps....that r...

What the Classes think about the Scout Update

Let's hear what the classes have to think about the Valve updates. It wasn't easy, but I managed to get in a match as a civilian and between all the deaths, got this out of them.

What do you guys think about air rifles?

I just bought a Crossman Storm air rifle today. I have a couple of pistols that I enjoy shooting, but this rifle has a muzzle velocity of 1000 feet/sec. I think its cool. It came with a 3-9 32mm scope and is really very simple to shoot.
Only drawback that I can see is it only shoots pellets.

Thinking about a 1D MKII

I am thinking about picking one upfor around $1100. I will be getting a 5D this week and am wonderng if I should splurge and pick this up too? I shoot mostly weddings and products. I know this might be a bit muck to lug to weddings, but are there any suggestions out there?

Your Opinions on One Piece VS Two Piece Shooting Rest?

Looking for a shooting rest. Good for centerfire as well as rimfire, and made in USA. I do not intend to compete in BR so I don't need a joy stick set up. How do the one piece stack up against the two piece? I'm looking at the model 1000 (Single Rest) by Target Shooting Incorporated verses the Generation II Windage Complete tripod rest By Sinclair using Protektor bags. Would these two be considered equals? Or does one or the other have more going for it?

I have to know after all these years... what is it that takes so long to think about before you pull the trigger? I'm talking 9 ball and 8 ball... not One Pocket or 14.1.
Please explain. I am dying to find out. I've never understood how anyone can take more than 60 seconds to consider a shot and table layout. Especially when there is only one ball on the table.
What is it that keeps you from shooting? What is it that you are thinking about.
I'd really like to know.
Guesses anyone?

Thinking about buying a telephoto lens.

Hey folks. I am considering purchasing a new lens to extend my focal range as I currently have nothing longer than 55mm. The lenses I am considering (based on budget and need) are: 85 f/1.8 135 f/2 70-200 f/4 IS Most of my shooting is done outside is reasonably good light and my inside shooting is done with my nifty or 17-55. Occasionly I shoot some sports in secondary school gym with relatively poor lighting (have to use ISO 1600/3200 f/2.8, so I can barely get by).

I've always wanted a good light weight rifle. Should I get a kimber .260 or 7mm-08?? I'm just freaked out about it not shooting decent out of the box paying that much for a rifle!! I would probably run it over if I had to send it back! Send it back in many, many small pieces!! I've also entertained the idea of finding a remington titanium .260 or 7-08. for those who has the kimber montanas, how do they shoot?
