Ok i've been reading and researching on helmets here lately. And have read some stuff on after a helmet reaches to be 5 years old or older, something about it's not as safe and it starts breaking down or something? Didn't know how true this is, but all of my helmets have reached that 5 or more year mark except one and it will be 5 years old by the end of this year. 08 450 smr oil leak. opinions?

now have 400 miles. bike is leaking oil below the starter motor from the crank case gasket every time the bike reaches running temp. WTF?
Does anybody know about a gasket failure such as this one?
I'm going to try and get it waranteed. looks like im going back to my trusty cbr for the time being.

I've tried the typical physics equations for this but none of them really work because the equations deal with constant acceleration and mine will need to change to work correctly. Basically I have a car that can be going at a large range of speeds and needs to slow down and stop over a given distance and time as it reaches the end of its path.
So, I have:
V0 , or the current speed
Vf , or the speed I want to reach (typically 0)
t , or the amount of time I want to take to reach the end of my pat...

I just finished building my PC, so I am new the the heat monitoring buisness. I am using my LCD poster that came with the Rampage II Extreme.
Since summer is coming those with a fan cooling system know its gonna increase the temps on CPU, North Bridge, South Bridge, etc...
My question is: What is the highest temperture you allow your computer to get?(Normal,overclock... Which ever way you run your PC)
Is it too cautious for me to turn it off before it reaches 40 degrees Celsius?

Looking at 06 325xi - Opinions Requested

Hey guys, took some test drives this past weekend and checked out a CPO 06 325xi with about 35k miles, premium pkg, sport pkg, cold weather pkg, and xenon HID's - standard trans.
The car was listed as an auto on the website but was actually a manual. I just switched over to an auto a couple of years ago from driving years of stick because I moved and have a longer commute but took it for a drive anyway.
Discovered that I really miss stick and the sport suspension but think I would be cursing it...

okay , i will be working on a friends car , that someone attempted to do a twincharge setup on for almost 300 whp. the motor is a 3rd gen gze . the current setup now has the turbo at 16-18 lbs. of boost un intercooled, feeding into the sc12 with blitz 14 lb. pulley. leaving the s/c the pipe goes to the FMIC then goes into the upper manifold to the head. am i the only one that sees a problem with this? 16-18 lbs. of boost un intercooled being crammed into the sc12 that maxes out at 16 lbs. but is...
