thinking about a new fan-fic, want opinions

i'm thinking about doing a new fan-fic - working title 'United Offensive' - which would see AF, the Joes, Argen 7 and Oktober Guard all working together against Cobra.
I'm planning to add to the Oktober Guard, so their roster would run:

Changing opinions of DS9 characters?

Did anyone else find that some of the characters on DS9 took awhile to grow on them? I mean did you find any characters unappealing to you at first, until some episode or moment changed your mind and got you to warm up to them/start to like them? There were a lot of DS9 characters that I went through that process with. It's one the reasons I wasn't sure if I'd be able to get through the whole series until the third season.

I have to say that since re watching, I've found that my opinions on characters have changed. Characters I once previously loved, are driving nuts and characters I once hated, are actually not that bad.
I'm just curious if any others feel this way.

Who are the Naruto characters based off?

I haven't been on here in so long, but couldn't get this idea out of my head. I mean, Kishimoto must have had some references when he was creating his characters. What do you think his character influences were? They can be fictional characters or nonfictional people.
I was thinking about Deidara today, and then it hit me who I feel he's based off of: Lestat de Lioncourt.
While the idea of Lestat living forever (he's a vampire if you don't know) clashes with Deidara's philosophy, everything else...

Opinion of the new characters

So what is everyone's opinions of the new characters?
I'll start off with the fact that Coach's attire is pretty cheesy to me but I guess the bright colors go with the bright settings. Nick is pretty suave which I do like. Rochelle is not as hot as zoey...for a game character. Even though I am a southerner myself, I do not care for Ellis' accent one bit.

I'm not sure if anyone else sees this, but there seems to be literary themes in the Player's Handbooks. Each of the 8 classes presented in each book have a binding theme, a subtle undertone that they all seem to share.
In Player's Handbook 1, each of the classes seemed to have the idea of earning their powers. The Martial characters trained their bodies and minds to achieve their physical prowess. The divine characters trained in churches and now venture out into the world to preach their gospel...
