1. Bit down - thinking about pulling out of the sale - opinions would be valued...   (30 Jun 2009)
Hello everyone Well as you will know if you read my other thread, I thought I had found the perfect (or near anyway!) horse. However, I have now learnt a few more things about him - and would value your advice about whether to go ahead (luckily no money has changed hands yet). 1. He is a bit bargy both in and out of the stable - as in he will push you with his head. He is fine to lead though. Is this easy to cure? He has been a bit spoilt I think and even his owner admits that - she lets him gra...

2. Thinking About Buying This Car...Need Opinions   (05 Jun 2009)
I'm interested in this 2002 Mustang GT as a daily driver, back and forth 2 miles to the bus stop each day, and on weekends. I know my Fox Bodies very well, but this is new territory for me. What should I look for/look out for? What's a decent price? I was thinking of offering $7500 if it looks good and drives good. Any opinions or advice is greatly appreciated. http://kansascity.craigslist.org/cto/1204437463.html Thanks, Greg

3. Thinking about selling the coupe - Need some advice   (21 Jun 2009)
My wife and I are having a house being built that should be completed in late Aug. She drives an '05 pathfinder and I DD the coupe. I'd really like to have a pickup truck, but not sure which way to go. I recently created the following post on SVT forums: Quote: : So here's the deal. My wife and I just bought a house, and I'm considering a "more practical" vehicle. My wife drives an '05 Pathfinder, and I have an '01 BMW M-coupe. I'd really like a truck to make the runs to Lowe's, Home Depot, etc....

4. What do you think about this...   (08 Apr 2009)
What do you think about this...   What do you people think about this as a first car? Any opinions about Clios? It hasnt got the mileage on there but I suspect it wouldnt be over 100,000 miles. Neither do I know about the Mot or Tax. I rang this evening but they wouldnt answer, I was hoping to go and visit them tomorrow and just buy it there and there, if it drives well of course. So apart from the above questions, do you think the dealer will lower the price, say maybe to £1000 from their price...

5. Thinking about DVC   (29 Jun 2009)
I am thinking about DVC at BLT & aprox. 180 points. We were offered a $5 incentive. The only things holding us back are: 1) We were looking at a cruise with our next Disney trip; however, it does not seem worth it to use the points for a cruise. We were told that they were running an incitive for current memebers for an free cruise with the purchase of an additional 100 pts. While we would love to be able to join at 160 pts. & buy the additional 100 pts. for the free cruise, 260 pts. is way more...

6. Thinking about joining DVC-Advice needed   (27 May 2009)
I'm seriously considering joining DVC by either buying direct at Bay Lake Towers with Disney or buying a resale at the Villa's at WL. I've had a 30 minute chat with Celeste Chaffaut from DVC last night who has seriously tempted me with Bay Lake. They are offering me $104 a point at the moment which I thought was pretty good as the annual dues at Bay Lake are the cheapest on property apparently at under $4 a point. She also then asked me whether I knew sombody in the DVC as if I had their name sh...

7. Thinking about gars...   (10 Apr 2009)
OK, so one of my lfs' has some Florida Gars that I've been watching for the last month or so. Every time I go in, I like them more and more. My largest tank right now is a 125g (72x18x22). I don't want to get a gar if it can't live in this tank for at least a few years, as my expansion plans are slightly limited right now. As of now, the only fish I plan on having in this tank are a pair of pbass (3.5" and 5.5" respectively), which I already have. The gar(s) that I'm looking at are about 7-8 inc...

8. Something to think about...   (25 Apr 2009)
Now, not tomorrow or next week, we shall discuss the forbidden topic on message boards, religion. This issue is quite touchy for many people, so I’d like to ask anyone in the topic to be open to criticism and other ideas different from your own. Is religion necessary? A lot of people choose to follow one religion or another, and as we all know the differences of religion can lead to conflict. Story after story exists of one man harming another because he fears what he does not know. All wars can...

9. I am thinking about getting a Ipod, have enough points from my checking account...   (09 May 2009)
There is something else I can get but I am really thinking about the Ipod.

10. Thinking about switching carriers...need advice   (16 May 2009)
So I know this is a mac forum, but I figured I would come here to get some advice. I am currently on AT&T and have a first generation iPhone. I absolutely love the phone...but HATE the service. One moment I'll have full bars, and the next I wont have service. I vary rarely have service indoors and if I do I end up having to go outside because the call is breaking up so badly. So, long story short, I am probably going to end up switching to Verizon. The only thing really holding me back is their...
