We live in a 3200 square foot 2 level home. We have 3 units. For the past several years, we've used a window unit to help cool down the larger bedroom while allowing the AC unit to cool the other 2 bedrooms. I'm so tired of the noise of the window unit and the inconvenience of getting DH to install and remove it each season. Plus it can't be that energy effecient.
The AC unit is still functioning fine(it is about 9 years old) so I'm having a really hard time deciding to spend so much money. Toda...

Tc: Thinking about going Turbo but wanted opinions.

So yeah like the Post said im thinking about going down the Turbo route. Only issue is car is Auto. I have mixed reviews saying auto can go turbo just fine IIIF your looking to go above 300 HP. I dont want to change to a Stick since i have an RS1. Thought about doing a tranny swap but dont know if its worth it.
But I digress, cars a daily driver in Sunny/Hot/Humid and alot of times rainy conditions. I wanted to get opinions from fellow Scion-lovers and those that have had turbo on their ride and...

I have recently stumbled upon a hefty real estate commission, and I think I want to treat myself to a new pistol..you know, as a reward to myself I'm liking the Pro Covert II and think it might be the one.

Thinking about selling macbook for imac

I have the previous model of the macbook 13" 2.0ghz 4gb ram. I really want an iMac though. I barely ever leave my house with this and I'd really like the larger screen.
Is it worth it to pop this macbook on ebay and then use the money to buy the cheapest model of iMac with the student discount and free iPod? I'd just sell the iPod touch on ebay to count it as more money off on the iMac.
Let me know some opinions...

I am thinking about DVC at BLT & aprox. 180 points. We were offered a $5 incentive. The only things holding us back are:
1) We were looking at a cruise with our next Disney trip; however, it does not seem worth it to use the points for a cruise. We were told that they were running an incitive for current memebers for an free cruise with the purchase of an additional 100 pts. While we would love to be able to join at 160 pts. & buy the additional 100 pts. for the free cruise, 260 pts. is way more...

After driving my friend's newly bought 2000 s2000 I have caught the s2k fever. I am really considering selling my 4th gen and getting one. I know a lot of people on prelude power have upgraded to it. So I'm looking for some opinions on the s2k and if its worth getting rid of my Lude.

Thinking about an N810.
I'm thinking about getting an n810 but I have a few questions/concerns.
I'm worried that with a 400mhz processor and 128mb ram trying to loading full web pages plus whatever is going on in the background will equal being a pretty slow device. Any answer/experience on this front?
I would also like to hear some opinions and general experiences with these devices. Maybe also any quirks or anything to beware of, or whatever just comes to mind. Thanks.

I can't do anything about this now since a) I don't have an Xcal2 and b) I don't have the spare cash handy, but I'm going to ask for some opinions now so I have time to think about things.
I'm going to be doing the PI intake swap and mild J-mod sometime in the next month or two and with that, I think I should get a tune to better take advantage of things. I can't stand how it handles my Gmail account. I see that Mailplane offers a free trial but I rather see what other people think of it. Right now I am using Mozilla's Prism application to let me run Gmail from my desktop as an application. I use that in conjunction with the Google Notifier.
Is there a better alternative?
