PREP How useful would a CB Radio be as a prep item?
(07 Jun 2009)
I've been thinking about it for a while since those are readily available to the general public and easier to learn than a Ham Radio. I'm thinking about picking up a handheld one I can use while traveling or in my house if needed.
Anyone have any thoughts on CBs, pro or con?

California lacrosse/ prep schools
(12 May 2009)
I play for my high school club team right now and am going to be playing on some club teams over the summer as well, I am wondering what i should do as of playing for a good high school, I was thinking about playing prep or something, so my first question is there any good prep schools/boarding out here towards the west coast that are good academically and lacrosse wise, and how do you get on those teams, I heard you had to repeat whatever grade you are in as well. The only one out here ive hear...

Is a LSAT prep course really worth it?
(17 Apr 2009)
I've been thinking about it, and there just aren't enough lawyers in the world already, so I'm thinking about applying to law school. I notice that LSAT prep courses are ridiculously expensive, around $1000-1500, which is a lot of money considering I don't really have a job at the moment.
So my question is, are these courses really that much more effective than just buying a prep book or two and learning it myself?
I don't know if it makes a difference, but I've always been good at standardized...

Colonoscopy Prep
(04 May 2009)
I know that many gluten-intolerant/celiac patients undergo the often-uncomfortable and much-unanticipated colonoscopy prep. I'm sure you all look forward to it about as much as you look forward to having your toenails pried off with tweezers. Maybe there's a more comfortable way to prep that won't make you dread it so much:
I was scheduled for a colonoscopy next Friday. It wasn't that I needed one...my doctor said, "Well, you're going in for an endoscope and you're going to be 'out' anyway, so y...

(09 Jun 2009)
Guys what kind of food to you eat before bed?
I am 7 1/2 weeks out
I was thinking about getting some casein protein for now and the dropping it 2 weeks out switch to just tuna or chicken or eggs etc..
Will the casein protein cause me to bloat as I heard it was a "dairy" "milk" product and milk during contest prep is a bad idea..

Stage rally truck prep - need opinions
(11 Jun 2009)
I posted this over on comancheclub, but thought I'd see what people have to say here about it:
So I ran my first stage rally this past weekend (STPR). It was a learning experience. The comanche is a stock 86 2.5L rwd with a 7' bed. We need to do something about power and suspension. Since this is my first comanche, I am looking to you guys for guidance on the best bang for the buck stuff, as racing gets expensive quickly.
First, let me introduce you to "The Chief"

PREP Are You Ready?
(13 Apr 2009)
Something that continues to spiral through my mind, am I ready? The worlds swings like a pendulum, tic toc to what is to come. All anyone with a half has to do is pick up a news paper, and some knowledge of history, and they will have some not so good feelings about the future. Despite how many preps a person has, despite how many guns, the most important prep is your mind. How does a person prepare themselves for an apocalypse? Even if it was to be a small one?
I know this has been mentioned be...
