Lebanon's Elections

I'm not sure what conclusions to take away from the Lebanese elections . On one had you have the Hezbollah faction not winning any more seats than they previously held, which by any standard is a good thing. The problem seems to be the utter lack of change this election will really have on the government. The sides still stay relatively deadlocked which may wrosent tensions within the country. I would like to hear what others think about what happened.

What do you think about the green party ? do u think it is affiliated to someone? well personally i like their objectives and im thinking of becoming a member very soon.

Drag strip opinions for today

I was planning on going to lebanon valley today with my brother's srt4, but it looks like theres a 30-50 chance of showers over there around 5. Do you think I should still go or are the chances of them closing the track right when it opens really high? Do they tolerate any rain at all or would a few showers not mess up the track?

it's the first election in Lebanon (by my opinion), it's the first time when i feel that really there is an election in Lebanon , without any pressure & only Lebanese people vote... Mr Ziad Baroud is very profitionnal & has selfconfidence, we appreciate our interior ministre & what change he make...

Yea or nay on getting a veteran's plate on my truck?

That time of year is coming around when I have to renew the MI plates on my F150.
I was in the Navy during the Lebanon, Beirut crisis in the early 80's and my ship provided naval gunfire support. I qualify for the MI Lebanon Conflict plate here;

I'm kinda on the fence on these, or maybe just stay with a regular plate. Any opinions?

IDF and The Laws of War Knowledge.

Do those who wear bombs strapped to their bodies think about the rules of war or International Law? Why is Israel always required to give answers for actions when clearly this situations has been going on for years between the two and were not leaflets dropped and warnings given? Hellooo tanks at your border! What about the 20 rockets found in Lebanon would those in control have given any warning? What is Israel the bad guy again or still? What about a report on the misuses Hamas has done?
