1. News Cuz to face leadership group over rude gesture   (01 Jun 2009)
http://www.afl.com.au/news/newsartic...2/default.aspx By Jennifer Witham 3:00 PM Mon 01 June, 2009 THE RICHMOND leadership group will meet with teammate Ben Cousins this week to discuss a suitable punishment for the obscene gesture he made to a match-day camera before Saturday night's clash with Fremantle at Subiaco. Cousins, 30, gave the mounted camera a one-fingered salute right before the Channel 10 game. The footage was shown after the game, and has been talked about extensively since. Richm...

2. Cav's Gesture   (07 Jul 2009)
What was that all about yesterday as he crossed the line? I know Stephen Roche was commenting that he shouldn't get so cocky, as he will not make himself too popular with the other guys.. opinions?

3. romantic gesture gone wrong   (17 Jun 2009)
3 1 1 A friend of mine is having some lousy luck and needs help. Yesterday was his and his wife's 20th year anniversary. He bought her a new set of wedding rings. He loosely tied the rings on a string of a red mylar balloon. The weight of the rings weighed down the balloon. Well, he left Wal-Mart with HIS WINDOW DOWN and the balloon and rings were sucked out of his car! Bad luck, huh...lack of not thinking about the window being down? He thought it would be okay because he caught the string and...

4. Mouse Gestures - Scroll not-full-page down? - Suggestions, Opinions & Requests...   (19 May 2009)
I hate full page down scrolls when I'm reading lotsa text or skimming. I much prefer the slow "arrow down/up" scroll s. I don't understand how most people don't see the annoyances in full page down; you have to keep jumping your eye focus from bottom of page area to the top of the page, and when you hit the end of the article you gotta start looking for the last section you just read since the last page down is NOT a full page down but can be anywhere from 1% to 100 % jump. Not fun. My temp fix...

5. Thinking about buying a tablet. Looked at the HP tx2 today.   (03 May 2009)
Hi all, Thinking about buying a tablet. I looked at the HP tx2 today at BestBuy. I hear BestBuy bargains with customers now. What is the lowest price someone has paid for a new tx2 at BestBuy? Here are my initial thoughts on the tx2: I see "multitouch" advertised to the point it is nauseating. I do not care about multitouch- I would rather pay less and not have it. The one feature I thought it would be nice for is rotating the screen between portrait and landscape but it does not seem to do this...

6. That gesture by Rafa   (21 Apr 2009)
Read about in the papers and online, thought he must have stuck two fingers up at Allardyce or made a thumb across the neck sign. When I saw it on Sky Sports, I couldn't believe what an offensive gesture he made... Truely disrespectful on the highest level. He might as well have pissed in Diana's memorial fountain whilst singing the Sex Pistols "god save the queen" because that would have been far less worse than the dispicable gesture that has been debated, cross examined, commented on, and par...

7. Need ideas for end of year teach/staff gift.   (22 Apr 2009)
I lead a Moms in Touch prayer group for our school.  We have about 55 people on staff and want to make a simple end of year gesture.  Thinking about a candy bar and making a wrapper for it. Would appreciate any ideas you can offer. Thanks.

8. Obama defends friendly gestures   (20 Apr 2009)
1 So Obama has two strategies for dealing with those who may oppose him. If you are a leftist foreign government who has practiced communism or enacted a totalitarian government upon your people he offers the olive branch. If you are a member of an opposing political party who represents over 45% of the people here in the Republic of the US, he ignores you and pounds his policies down your throat. Quite a contrast in my opinion.

9. I quit smoking 14 months ago, but I still have one leftover indicator that...   (28 Jun 2009)
I used to smoke with my left hand even though I am right handed. To this day, when I am just sitting and thinking about something, I will unconsciously bring my left hand up to my lips in a gesture that looks like I am taking a drag off of an imaginary cigarette. I usually only notice that I've done it after the fact. I smoked for 19 years.

10. A colour wartime photo   (29 May 2009)
I just found this rare private colour photo on eBay, taken by a German soldier in occupied Paris: I don't know how our French colleagues think about it, but I believe it's a commendable gesture from a Luftwaffe (or any other foreign, actually enemy) officer.
