Critical Strike Feat

Hey guys. In our last campaign we apparently used Critical Strike incorrectly by not requiring the two swift actions. Now that I see it, it seems extremly weak. You lose your swift and movement for an additional 5% change to crit. Plus you can't really pick it up until at least level 9. The elite trooper (Ext Crit Range) and the Jedi Knight (Vapaad) have no action sacrifices. I couldn't search the forum and I can't find any errata so does anyone know of any rulings about this? Optimizing a not so optimized character.

I've been playing this 4E game with a character I designed before I knew much of anything about how to properly optimize a character for 4E, and I'd like some opinions on what I can do from where I am right now (Flawed as it may-be) to still give my character some kick later on.

Hi all, I will soon be working on a campaign for this system, and it is the first time I have ever run one. I'm currently building my miniature compilation and library of saga books. I know I need the new Jedi training manual and scum and villainy, as well as a couple of campaign books. (soon is relative. First off: This is the first build that I've ever posted here, and the first build that I really want to get RIGHT. All my characters have been "winged", and they turn out pretty well, and they're all fun to play. Blindshot, my Ranger, however. . . He's constantly giving me problems.
