Glow-in-the-dark MONKEYS?
(28 May 2009)
I was watching the news, and heard about monkeys whose skin and fur glow in the dark!
The Monkeys were genetically modified.
I was watching the news in Australia, btw.

Discuss;
what you think about the discovery, you're opinion about the discovery.

Marry me in a monkeys toilet?
(21 May 2009)
Have you ever walked in on a Gaian wedding?
I always have a few lulz when I do.
They seem pointless to me.
But it seems to happen more and more often these days.
I once attended a Gaian wedding.
A friend of a friends in towns.
Kinda awkward when the bride finally showed up. (yes she was late)
Seems we both wore the same white dress.
How embarrassing for her!
I at least took off the viel so it looked like we accessorized differenly.
Though I think a few people could totally still tell she ripped...

Trial Vaccine Shields Monkeys From HIV
(20 May 2009)
Raising hopes for the development of an AIDS vaccine that might actually work, researchers report they were able to protect monkeys against infection with simian immunodeficiency virus (SIV), the primate version of HIV. They did so by using a novel approach that delivered antibody-producing genes directly to the animalsÂ’ muscles. Typically, vaccines are aimed at ramping up the immune system to fight off infection, but this strategy eliminated that middle step.
“Traditional approaches toward deve...

Arctic Monkeys
(03 Jun 2009)
is it just me or has this part of the forum become a little stale recently? anyhoo....
This summer is going to be massive for Arctic Monkeys. Their new album is released on August 24th, which is immediately followed by a headline slot at Leeds/Reading festival, their first British gig in over a year. So, what are your opinions on the band? what direction do you think their third album will take? And what do you think of them headlining Leeds/Reading?
Personally, I think the Arctics are the defin...

New Arctic Monkeys Album First Look
(02 Jun 2009)
The Clash site has a first look at the new Arctic Monkeys album. Apparently they were only let in to listen to it at the actual record studio and Josh Homme and James Ford were there!? Quite weird to think about that, but it might be a fabrication for storys sake.

My Insomnia - what do you think about Brazil?
(15 Apr 2009)
I am a little wrathful today. I have insomnia. Maybe because I can't find a way to become a millionaire in a easy way, or maybe I have a lot to do tomorrow morning at work (and for the unbelievers, the standard work time of Brazil is from 08:00 AM to 12:00 AM, and them from 01:30 PM to 06:00 PM - this means I need to wake up near to 07:00 AM).
By the way, my english sucks. And this firefox spelling checker sucks too - I don't want to know if "english" is writted with capital letter "E". Even its...

Something to think about.
(20 Jun 2009)
IF man evolved from monkeys and apes...ALL monkeys and apes would be extinct!!! Think about it, in that great and wonderful brain God gave you. If evolution was true...when a thing evolves... (the original)...it becomes extinct! No trace. No apes! The last time I checked...we still have a huge population of apes!
THE LIE that evolutionist started has too many people believing it. Remember that old saying? If the lie is told enough times...it becomes the truth? That's still another LIE! An ape is...

What do you think about the recently found "Missing Link"?
(19 May 2009)
Just curious what everyone's opinion is on this?
http://news.sky.com/skynews/Home/Wor...liest_Ancestor
The search for a direct connection between humans and the rest of the animal kingdom has taken 200 years - but it was presented to the world today at a special news conference in New York.
The discovery of the 95%-complete 'lemur monkey' - dubbed Ida - is described by experts as the "eighth wonder of the world".
They say its impact on the world of palaeontology will be "somewhat like an asteroi...

Attack of the Leftist Hate Monkeys!
(03 Jul 2009)
On Fri, 3 Jul 2009 21:02:20 -0700, "Eric Gisin" <gisin@uniserve.com
The AGW "true believers" are a minor variation of this leftist hate.

Once, when I was a lad, I was verbally assaulted on the streets of New York by a paranoid
schizophrenic. This raving lunatic came at me waving his hands wildly in the air with spittle and
shrill curses spewing from his mouth in equal measure. I had been walking along los...

making a Monkey out of an Activist
(01 Jun 2009)

It's easy to refute the arguments of the animal rights lobby
I've only ever heard one proper screaming argument with an animal rights activist. That was a great night. it was a student party. She told me she believed animal lives to be worth just as much as human live. i told her she was the most apathetically selfish person I'd ever met.
"Because if that place down the road was selling Kentucky Fried Person," I...
