Thinking about a tune.
(22 Jun 2009)
I can't do anything about this now since a) I don't have an Xcal2 and b) I don't have the spare cash handy, but I'm going to ask for some opinions now so I have time to think about things.
I'm going to be doing the PI intake swap and mild J-mod sometime in the next month or two and with that, I think I should get a tune to better take advantage of things. Other than those mods, the car will be completely stock. I was thinking about having Lonnie write me the "mild" tune.... Based on his dyno she...

What Do Some Japanese Gamers Think About Online Gaming/Distribution?
(14 Apr 2009)
Japanese magazine Famitsu has polled a pool of 798 about their thoughts on what's going on with the game industry. The most interesting data was with online gaming.
While 90 percent of those polled have used some sort of home console or portable console, only 24 percent of those have actually paid to use said service meaning, we assume, they're not using paid services like Xbox LIVE. What's more, 58.5 percent use those networks for wireless ad hoc play (think Monster Hunter on the PSP).

Thinking about this Speaker / Amp setup ...
(08 Apr 2009)
Hi
New to the forum and first post. I got an Imola Red E46 '02 325Ci M Sport last week and have realised the standard stereo isn't up to much! What would be your thoughts on the following setup, keeping the standard Business Cassette head unit :
Amp - JBL GTO75.4 - 104 watts RMS x 4 channel at 4 ohms / 600w Peak
Front Components - JBL GTO-506ce 13cm Component Speakers
Rears - JL AUDIO XR525-CW 5-1/4" 1-Way 120W Midbase Speakers
I have very little experience in car audio, so don't know if this is...

Thinking about starting a UK-based campaign
(19 Jun 2009)
Hi everyone,
So i'm feeling pretty incensed right now about the whole herpes not being included in standard 'FULL' STD tests right now, and I am considering starting a campaign to change this/thinking about how I could go about it.
I was thinking writing to MPs/health ministers and also starting an online petition.
Before I start going off on one as I seem to often do on this forum, what does anyone think? realistic idea? chance of making any difference?
I really feel like I can't just sit here...

"It is not reasonable to make conclusions based upon opinions."
(05 May 2009)
At the Biblical Criticism and History Forum, kcdad said:
Quote: : It is not very reasonable to make conclusions based on opinions. Normally conclusions (which are themselves opinions) are based upon experience or facts not other opinions even if they are other people's opinions. I request that kcdad explain what he meant in greater detail.

Something to think about, put it on your back burner and remember this.
This is from my insight not my friends, although my friends think this is to complex to think out.
All investor knowledge is based on the known's of the investment world. Since that is how future conclusions are determined.
What if the USA Treasury defaulted on it's obligations, not short term obligations. They can not on the short term. It would freeze everything in the markets. But, what if they gave up 10-30 yr. treasurie...

Don't forget about runes when talking/thinking about RoM's "crafting system"
Many ppl are deliniating between "crafting" runes, and the games "crafting system"
I can only hazard a guess but It's my opinion that we may see more elements, within the crafting system, that fill(what I think is) a percieved void between rune crafting and equipment/weapon crafting.
But, having said that, RoM also has an appauling stigma that people want to box it in and make it into a clone of *ahem* another game.

what do you think about chat pop up service to increase sales
(25 May 2009)
Hello
I have been looking for ways to increase my conversion rates and would like to hear anyone's opinion about the use of a "Chat Service" (basically a per order service, like an affiliate).
When someone who is at your web site, chooses to leave, without placing an order, a window pops up with a live operator available to try to "save the day" and convert that visitor to order.
The pop up window might say "Hi I"m Alice, I see you're leaving, but I can get you 10% off an order today on our late...

Orient fans have painful Hearnia to think about
(08 Jun 2009)
Just spent much of my afternoon writing a column for the Orient rivals site. I usually do "Match Previews" but have come up with this fairly emotional piece.
Quote: : After fourteen years in charge we look back on Barry Hearn's rein as Orient chairman and look ahead to the future and discuss what that holds for Barry and most importantly, the club. Quote: :
In 1995, Leyton Orient Football Club's one hundred and fourteen existence looked to be in jeopardy when chairman Tony Wood lost his coffee g...
