Guess who is thinking about a comeback?
(31 May 2009)
Quote: : Michael Vick (notes) does not have the market cornered on athletes-turned-convicts who would like to turn athletes again. Former Denver Broncos draftee Maurice Clarett is sitting behind bars, dreaming of playing professional football again. According to his blog , he's in good physical shape, and he certainly sounds inspired. Here's a snippet: I want to play. I am going to play somewhere. I cannot accept how things ended. I wont accept how they ended. I am 220, rock solid. I am moving...

Guess Who Wishes Bush Was Back?
(27 Jun 2009)

Quote: : By David S. Broder
Sunday, June 21, 2009
In a conversation the other day with a White House official, I heard something I'd never expected from an employee of Barack Obama's. "I wish," he said, "George Bush would speak up a little more."
In the five months since he left the presidency, Bush has immersed himself in his memoir. He has stayed home in Texas and rarely spoken publicly. The result has been that he has largely disappeared f...

Thinking about a Gixxer
(29 May 2009)
Whether I need help deciding between a 600 or a 750, or I need help of the psychological variety, I'm not sure yet. That's why I'm posting.
Lately, I've become more and more interested in getting a street bike. I've posted on a few forums, and a lot of people have given me a lot of opinions. I've gotten everything from a Honda Nighthawk 750 to a Hayabusa. I think it has a lot to do with the fact that I'm somewhat in between as a rider. I've been riding dirt bikes for about 4 years, and I've ridd...

Thinking about getting back into this...
(20 May 2009)
...Simply because I don't do anything anymore. XD
But the world's gone topsy-turvy in 18 months. The hell happened to the BL tier? And Garchomp's an uber these days? And Regice is NU!? Is this how bad OU competitive gaming has become!? I guess times change...Manaphy and Deoxys-S finally became ubers in the end...Latias has been dropped down to OU? Finally. ^_^
See, the main thing that put me off is that I knew so much (and still do) about the metagame, but I really couldn't put it down into batt...

Problem Now I have to really think about it.
(16 Apr 2009)
This is going to be a long post… A time back I posted this:
…even though I been unhappy with how they have handled me personally. Their first action should be to move on to a better (I assume that is what v23 is) program thereby getting them back in the game. Next, change their low sales tactic opinion of a lot of their customers (myself included). On this issue I do have an opinion… and suggestion (though how workable it is I don't know). Get rid of the sales people (sorry...bye guys) and incre...

What the Classes think about the Scout Update
(13 Apr 2009)
Let's hear what the classes have to think about the Valve updates. It wasn't easy, but I managed to get in a match as a civilian and between all the deaths, got this out of them.
Scout: I... I don't even know where to begin with you. First of all, the updates are about giving the new classes strategies. Valve never said, they'd be good! But hey, looka' me! I'm already perfect, don't blame valve for messing up. The sandman rocks, knuckle heads like you can get BONKed like the dumbasses you are! A...

Orient fans have painful Hearnia to think about
(08 Jun 2009)
Just spent much of my afternoon writing a column for the Orient rivals site. I usually do "Match Previews" but have come up with this fairly emotional piece.
Quote: : After fourteen years in charge we look back on Barry Hearn's rein as Orient chairman and look ahead to the future and discuss what that holds for Barry and most importantly, the club. Quote: :
In 1995, Leyton Orient Football Club's one hundred and fourteen existence looked to be in jeopardy when chairman Tony Wood lost his coffee g...

Just Thinking About Things...
(06 Apr 2009)
Just Thinking About Things... I HAVE JUST BEEN THINKING ABOUT THINGS HERE LATELY, AND ONE THING PEOPLE NEED TO REALIZE IS IT DONT MATTER, ALL GRAND OR NOT, THEY ARE STILL JUST DOGS.
THEY ARE GOING TO LOOK GOOD ONE NIGHT, AND YOU MIGHT WANT TO KILL IT THE NEXT NIGHT.
DOGS ARE NOT PERFECT, EVERY SINGLE HOUND/COON DOG IN THIS WORLD IS NOT GOING TO BE 100% CONSISTENT 365 NIGHTS OUT OF THE YEAR.
IT IS NOT POSSIBLE.
WE HUNT HARDER THAN ALOT OF PEOPLE IN OUR COUNTY, AND WE TREE ALOT OF COONS WITH OUR D...

I have no talent (or Thinking about killing yourself?)
(16 Jun 2009)
I finally published my LBP masterpiece level. If I have to estimate (and, you know, I don't) I'd say I've spent somewhere between 75 and 100 hours creating and testing this baby. If you were thinking about killing yourself just now, do me a favour and play my level first. Maybe, just maybe, it'll give you a reason to live.
My level has bullet points such as:
No Idle Thumbs stuff You start next to some shit I never ended up using in the level The level opens in medias res : The evil wizard has st...
