Help, my battles are WAY too long

I know this has been asked before, but I'm still not able to find an effective means of getting battles over fast. The other day we had an "all day D&D" saturday and we only got through 2 battles in about 6 hours (very little Role Play)!
Now granted one of the players was brand new and in the first battle 2 of the party members were near death (one was 1 hp away), but I still can't believe how long it took.
I've never tried the "you have 1 minute to decide what to do, if not, you delay your turn...

So here are my suggestions for the next N.O.world to make gameplay much more exciting (i'm not saying that sabah/theoris are not exciting, BUT: the stronger emphasis on PvP, the more exciting it gets):
-Lost battles: whoever is defeated (whether the invador or defender) has to really feel some kind of LOSS! my suggestion: [a random number between 1-5] buildings in the defeated's city/cities are to be downgraded by 1 level. also the buldings that are to be downgraded are to be chosen randomly. th...

I know that both games are respectable real-time strategy games, and I want to know the opinions of others on each, and which one they like best/ would recommend to a RTS player. I only have enough money to afford one, so please don't say to buy both.

The epic battles

Up until now there have only been a few battles that in my opinion can be considered EPIC! and they are ICHIGO VS BYAKUYA, ICHIGO VS GRIMMJOW, KENPACHI VS NOITORA, and HISAGI VS FINDOR!
so i think it would be nice to see what you guys think. My personal favorite is officially the Hisagi vs Findor Carias fight. If you feel that i missed any good fights then please post them. i would like to know your opinions.

Environment-Utilizing Boss Battles

If there's anything lacking in DMC, it would be boss battles where you make use of nearby objects to help defeat the boss.
The only exception would be Nightmare, Doppelganger & The Savior.
Personally, I only like such battles if using nearby objects are either optional or somehow done in a way where it's fun and Stylish .
I wouldn't like to think that Dante or Nero wouldn't be able to defeat the bosses if there wasn't a nearby object or equipment they can make use of.

Why Uber Battles are Pointless.

Here are all the Reasons:
1. They don't test you in anyway.
2. You don't have to think about Movesets, EV's, ECT because they're so overpowerd theres not much thinking involved.
3. Ubers are Reckless in Battles.
4. Ubers maybe Strong but there 1 weakness can kill them of.
5. go into a battle you vs. Ubers and wen u hit a super effective attack see wats more effective ur attack or theres.
6. Watch videos on Youtube of PBR of People going up against Ubers and deafting them badly.

I profess nothing of the sort. I posted my well thought out analysis and posed the tough questions that need to be asked. You seem to be the bearer of truth. Why should your "truth" hold any more weight then "mine"?
The burn rate was not 4.9 mill it was approx 8 mill/ Do the math.

Hey what are your opinions on the new season of Pokemon that is out airing in america. dont tell any spoilers because so far we are only at episode 5. i think the opening theme song is actually alot bettter then battle dimension. and this season looks like it will be pretty good also. James Madison Sports Center was the hangout place for the teenagers of the large town of Drakewood. It offers many programs for both genders. There the teenagers participate in sports after school and play in competitions. Drakewood Academy is the school that everyone in Drakewood attends.
