Strange One With Central Locking, Opinions Please.

Ok so here's the issue I got back to my car after work today and when I went to unlock the car remotely nothing happend, likewise I couldn't open the boot. I used the key in the lock and if I turned the key and pulled the handle simultaneously I could open the door but the alarm would sound continually, also this only unlocked the drivers door. If I just turned the key in the door lock then the door would remained locked and the alarm would sound. Also if I unlocked the boot with the key the boo...

Locking differential or not?

Getting my first ATV....Undecided between Honda and Yamaha...Have a lot of experience with 4WD trucks but zero with quads....
I believe there's a lot to be said for a locking diff on a quad but guys with Hondas don't seem to complain about not having it....
Opinions?
Also am leaning toward either a 550 or 700 Yamaha as both are virtually the same weightwise/dimensionally to the less powerful Honda Rancher AT....

Locking diffs

I'm sure this has been hashed out a million times, but having trouble finding the search feature. Looking to put locking diffs in my ride soon; looking for opinions w/ reasons. Only choice I see is ARB or Detroit Locker. This truck is, and always has been, a daily driver.

Don't like that we think the proposed changes are poorly thought out and will do nothing but reduce the quality of the game? Just lock the thread, and this other one, and this other one over here... Yes, who needs customer opinions? Well here's an opinion about you blocking our opinions. That change in ANY form is silly.. The opposition to it is extreme and you're totally ignoring your customers by still having it on the to do list.

Battlefield Bad Company Locking Up During Game Play.

Almost every time I play BC it locks up. It only seems to lock up when I'm flying a helicopter or when there is a lot going on with the graphics. Almost as if the video can't keep up. Like when your trying to play a PC game that has too great of graphics for your video card and it keeps locking up. Anybody else have this problem? I was thinking about reinstalling the game but I don't know if it will lose my data or not.

Locking Lugs

So I just put the summer wheels/tires back on my car and I'm thinking about getting a set of locking lugs because I know of folks around here who have had their wheels stolen (literally found their car on cinder blocks ). I'm pretty sure that my car takes 14mmx1.5" lugs, but I figured I'd check and see if any vw owners out there have any advice. The OEM ones I got with the car rusted so bad that they had to be cut when I switched wheels the first time. Would these work?

I'd like to politely request that all off-topic threads (including, BH, Zeta & Lounge) are left unlocked for the duration of BB.
I see no valid reason for them to be locked.
No other forum locks up off-topic threads during peak times.
We use our off-topic threads to retreat and chat to friends when we don't want to contribute to on-topic threads.
Would it not make sense to leave these THREE threads as they are? It has been claimed that they are clique-ish and off-putting to new me...

Probably a silly question but here goes .... Can a mobile phone be locked by .. ie (vodafone,02, orange ) whilst there's no sim card in the phone ,i would go into details ,but it's a long story . Lets just say there's been a difference of opinions and i don't like losing

Couple of questions about central locking + rear window rubber bits

Hello all,
My boot (trunk) lock doesn't unlock when i press the button on the remote, i need to use the key to unlock it, but when i do, to get the key back out of the lock u need to turn it back to original position, and that locks up the whole car. I'm guessing the actuator is gone as I can hear it moving in and out when i use the key to unlock the car but nothing when I press the remote button.
Also, I have the traditional squeak between the front windows and rear windows when the car goes ov...
