I've got a web app I'm building in ASP.NET that has the following security requirements:
Must be able to integrate with a master authentication scheme that passes back a unique key to the application to indicate a user has logged in via a third-party site. Must be able to use existing user/roles tables. May use forms authentication and allow users to log in via a separate login page if they aren't members of the third-party site. Thinking about going Raid 0, not sure

Currently have a 150GB Raptor, looking for more speed, but don't feel like spending very much.
Was looking at some inexpensive 80GB 7200rpm drives ($33.99 each on newegg) and was thinking about getting 4 to 6 of them and putting them in raid 0. That could potentially give me somewhere between 350MB/s to 500MB/s.
Could I actually expect this performance? Any catches I need to know about? Keep in mind I do realize that with raid 0 the more drives you have, the higher your chance of irreparable dat...

Can Java apps integrate with VB apps?

I am not sure exactly what I am asking....The guys that do the software development for the company I work for write everything in VB. I am currently the Web developer for this company and I specialize in Flex apps. I am thinking about expanding into their area. But I do not want to do VB, I don't mean to bash on VB but the coding syntax is not for me. So I am wondering if Java can integrate with VB? Also not sure if it matters but I think everything they do is procedural, and I will be doing OO...

Any opinions on any iPhone teleprompter app?

I want to try using a teleprompter application on my ipod Touch, and I found three. Two of them cost substantially more than 99c, so I thought it might be better to see whether anyone has used any of them for LV recording. The three I found are called Softalk Ltd - AutoPrompter
Bodelin - ProPrompter
Ferenc Sagi - Teleprompter (the cheap one, but it gets only one 1-* review )

Adobe Flash Installer submitted to App Store!

Jonah Grant has submitted an iPhone Flash Installer to the App Store today according to TheLoopBlog . This app will be a plugin for Safari. It will work for all UIWebViews.
In the past, Adobe has claimed that an iPhone App like this would be very hard to make. Jonah is saying that if the app gets through Apple, it will be a free download in the App Store.

I am creating a lobby system for a Wii game. I am trying to first decide which would be a better approach as I have not done very much Client/Server programming in Java. I don't know which packet type would be more appropriate and whether I should incorporate synchronized or asynchronous sockets in my program.

okay, it's been a while since i last posted here in ipodtouchfans forum.
well, i need your opinions guys,
because now I'm not updated with the games and apps.
so, I've just updated my ipod touch to 2.2.1
and I want to start again by installing new games in my ipod.
