1. Old School Japanese aftershaves...   (11 Apr 2009)
I am considering doing up some sample kits of some of the wonderful (very) old school aftershaves still being sold here in Japan. In the land where there's a Tosuke straight-razor wielding barber on every corner and the highest per capita population of elderly in the world you can bet there's some good old school juice to be had....ohhh the burn! Before I go crazy hitting up the local drug stores I wanted to ask two questions: 1) Would there be any interest in such a sampler? I'm thinking anywhe...

2. Col. Conk aftershaves   (10 Jun 2009)
Anyone use the Col. Conk aftershaves? I'm looking into getting the Bay Rum or the Almond Balm and looking for some opinions on it.

3. Aftershave curiosity   (01 Jul 2009)
Gentlemen, I have come across several aftershaves that intrigue me: La Toja Brummel Veleiro I believe they are all Spanish. I like the Spanish Floid, but know nothing about these. I would love to read some opinions on them before spending the money. Anyone? Regards, Obelit

4. St. Charles Shave AS   (12 May 2009)
I am thinking about purchasing some SCS aftershaves. Are they quality stuff? Are the splashes better than the AS Milks? Give me the rundown! I was thinking about getting samples of the Blue Line, Hydro, Savory Rose, Parma Violet, Med Citrus. How do the milks and splashes differ with the SCS stuff? Thanks, -Ryan

5. Musgo AS   (18 Jun 2009)
I am thinking about getting Musgo AS splash. I was wondering if anyone uses it and if so, how long does the scent last, and how does it feel on the skin? I don't like strongly scented aftershaves. Does it have menthol?

6. Getting Bored Looking For Something New   (16 May 2009)
OK Gents, I have bought, traded and used so many products and I am getting bored. I'm not thinking about any hardware, razors or blades and I am not into creams. I'm thinking Aftershaves, Colognes and Soaps. I like complete set-ups. Here's your chance to pick out one for me to try. What say the masses?

7. Aftershave suggestion?   (24 Jun 2009)
I'm ordering some blades (Personnas Red) from west coast shaving and I was thinking about adding an aftershave to the order. I currently just use Nivea. I have tried a sample of trumpers skinfood which I like. Not sure if I should go with a splash or balm. I enjoy nivea but I may be in the market for something else if it is good. My four creams and soaps in rotation currently are Proraso cream, Trumpers Violet cream, TOBS Avocado cream, and Tabac Soap.

8. Best Aftershave?   (04 Jun 2009)
What's the best aftershave out there in your opinion?

9. Mr.Taylor: cologne or aftershave?   (13 May 2009)
Hello guys, A few days ago I took a sniff of Tabac EDT and after a while a second one, this time Tabac AS and I noticed differences that are beyond subtle, in my opinion. I had sometime ago a bottle of Mr. Taylor AS and I liked it very much. I wonder if Mr.Taylor cologne is even better? What do you think?

10. I've Got It   (28 Jun 2009)
Last week, upon discovering this site, for the first time I actually took a moment to think about shaving. It’s something I’ve never given much thought; I just took it for what I thought it was: 5-blade cartridges, a can of foam, and a pain in the butt. I've since decided to make the switch. I spent quite a bit of time lurking on this forum, taking in the wealth of information. The whole time I was thinking, “Do you really need to buy all that shaving equipment? How could you have such an urge?...
