What Do You Think About The Level Of Censorship We're Faced With In Television...
(02 Jun 2009)
So I was looking around for a few Snuffy clips recently, and I came across this: A woman explains the breast-feeding process to Big Bird while she's breast-feeding. At first I thought, "Wow, that's cool. It's really informative, but it's put in a language where kids can understand it. Also, you've got Big Bird there. What's not to love about Big Bird?" Then I thought "...Okay, if this is on now, I wanna see the resulting media covered flame war."
It's surprising to look back and see something li...

Detrimental Effects of Television
(16 Jun 2009)
The television's primary conception was as a tool for communication, similar to a fax machine. After its first prototype was eventually on the shelves and mass-produced, corporations began to think of more uses for the device. It soon ripened into the fruit which people all over the world indulge themselves in today. A black box, requiring nothing, but giving so much; the television soon became a commonplace in citizens of the world homes and lives. Is there anything to be gained from watching t...

I'm tired of hearing about the fucking Republicans all over my Television...
(04 May 2009)
I'm tired of hearing about their party and how they are trying to put it back together.
I'm tired of hearing from them; as they have no new ideas.
I'm tired of seeing them on my television; because they are so ugly when they speak.
I'm tired of their lies, exaggerations and pure hyperbole.
I'm tired of the Media believing that they need to give them a voice all of the goddamn time!
I distinctly remember back in 2000! For an entire year, I could not even find Democrats,
and no one was talking abo...

Post your favorite Classic Television Shows...
(03 Jun 2009)
Television has entertained a great number of people since the technology was first put into use in the 1940s and not into full gear until the 1950s. It has went through many changes, starting with the simple, black-and-white TV set that only had 2-3 channels. Those who were lucky enough to have seen all changes should be proud of them.
So before we step back and announce our favorite Television Shows, please note that any show that began in the 2000s (21st Century) does not qualify. Remember tha...

A rant - Television Commercials

A Rant - Commercials
I have a down-on-his-luck friend from Florida who has been renting a spare room from me here in Vegas.
We have slightly different personalities. I work on the house eight hours a day -- it still isn't finished. He watches television.
For me, television is a way to watch football games in the winter, and cooking shows, This Old House and Mythbusters the rest of the year.
Some Loser and Kate plus Eight? Never seen it. American Idol? Couldn't care less. 30 Rock? No idea. Surviv...

Has cable television went down hill?
(15 Jun 2009)
Cable television has gone down hill its a complete waste of money
every channel has been polluted by teen dramas and reality tv shows
music channels do not play music and they don't even play music related tv shows
that much anymore
I'm thinking about getting the cable turned off in my house
do you think this is a good idea?we rarely watch tv anymore
and with the money we waste spending on cable we could be doing something else?
